noob w/ some questions

So I read through the FAQ and did a bit of research, but still have some questions.

I am a clove smoker, but now that they have banned cloves in the US im looking for an alternative, including rolling my own. The thing is, Im not a heavy smoker. I smoke , on average probably one clove a day after work. The only time I smoked heavier was at a bar, but smoking has been outlawed indoors in my state now too.
So I was looking at e cigs just as a way to
1. be a little healthier, and
2. Still give me that little bit of comfort i get from holding a cig and smoking. I dont even need the nicotine really.

I was looking at the Blu and the Vaporlites. I like the Blus b/c they look ma little more economically feasible. but the Vaporlites have the manual style e- cig in a starter kit for 10 dollars more than blu's. My main question are:

1. What are the thoughts on these two brands, and is there a better alternative that is still in the same price range?
2. Are cartridges interchangable? for instance if i got a Blu, could I use another brand cartridge on it? I would like a good variety of flavors and Blu only has 5

I use Vapor4life and they have clove cartomizers.I havent tried them yet so I dont know how they taste.Just something to check out.

The blu is way overpriced and their customer service is poor. I would recommend that you research the d510 and the kr808d-1 here. These are 2 of the most popular ecigs and are sold by many good vendors.

Im not necessarily looking for a clove flavor ( though I would definetly try it)
Im starting to see the blu arent the best it just seems you get more for your money., Kind of like the sidesho hybrid too.

So are the cartridges interchangable or do you have to get the specific brand of e cig you buy?
