Noob with 8,000 mAh

Thoughts/advice on the following setup?

Dual Port Battery Pack and Charger
+
USB Variable Voltage Mini Passthrough
+
Kanger Protank II mini

I've gone thru multiple weak/failing batteries, three chargers plus HK post in six weeks and felt, many times, like I was sucking unlit cig's. I like the mini IIs and am comfortable with being wired (mostly working at my desk). And seems this should end my adventures with weak batteries.

Any downside, advice or issues with this approach that might expect? I have reordered MVP2 -- not sure which will become primary device.

The setup is interesting, but I'm afraid would not end your adventures with weak batteries.

The link you have for the power supply, in the specifications states:
"One port can provide up to 1 amp of 5 VDC charging power, while the other provides up to 2.2 amps"
This may be a little light for vaping considering there will be additional losses from the VV Passthrough.

Then the VV Passthrough, in the specifications states:
"(4.7v) (not all computer USB ports can output this value)
Not for use with low resistance cartomizers. Please use 2.0ohm and above"
This would also limit your choices in coil resistance (2.5ohm would be a good choice)and thus vaping power.

I agree with Stosh. Those packs are meant for relatively low current constant output charging & similar applications. They aren't designed or meant for the short, high output current demands of vaping.
