Noobie Awards???

I swear I think I could win the noobie award for figuring this out. How about if everyone else shares their DOH! moments?

First, I bought one of the cheapo mini-cigs at the local smoke shop and did not understand the concept at all and pretty much wasted that money. DOH!

Then I found this forum and bought a Joye 510 starter kit (that was not the dumb part, hang on). I ordered some new liquid right away and everything tasted burnt and perfumey so I looked into my attys and thought I sucked filler into them so I used some tweezers and pulled all this white stuff out from under the bridges. DOH! That was apparently the wicking material in the attys so now I only have two PVs good for dripping.

So I order three more attys today, thinking I'll be good, then go off to a SuperBowl party and show off my two 510s all during the party. Get home, and I have LOST an entire unit!!! DOH!!!

So now I have to add to my order and get another battery. Sigh...

Anyone else have DOH! moments? Oh yes, I forgot also that I spilled an entire 5 ml bottle of juice all over the counter.

*raising hand* I've done a couple of "stoopid noobie" things The worst being -

I didn't screw the cap back onto a brand new 30ml bottle of my favorite e-liquid. I didn't realize it though until I reached across my table for something and knocked it over. More than half of it spilled out. I jumped when I saw it happen but it was one of those slow-motion moments... and by the time I righted the bottle the damage was done.

I felt so bad while I was soaking it up with paper towels

Another one that made me laugh was -

I fell asleep with my 510 in my hand. I did the instant panic , jumped up and started patting everything down with my hands ... trying to find the lit cigarette ... hoping nothing was smoldering.... it took me a few seconds to realize, then I touched the cool metal of the 510.... Ohhhhh - nothing bad happened... it's not a lit cig! I'm glad I was alone and no one saw me do that

The first time I tried to re-stuff a cartridge with polyfill I shoved so much in there that when I tried to inhale from it I was sucking on it with the same intensity as trying to suck a McDonald's milkshake from the straw. My daughter asked me why I was making "fish-face".

I hope someone finds and returns your 510!! - arrgh - that must have felt bad ... and frustrating when you realized it was gone
