Hi all,

I'm a smoker of 30yr. and have been researching personal vaporizers, and accessories for the past month. I purchased an eGo Twist, Kanger Pro tank, and a drip kit from Vapor Cigzz.com I also bought a sample pack of V-juice at Heathers Heavenly Vapes. HHV's was the only store I found that you can choose the flavors in the sample pack. I received my products from both stores in 3 days. Also Vapor Cigzz gave me a coupon code for 15% off v-juice. All is good except I now realized that I forgot to purchase a charger... Doh!!!

I placed my order for the charger on Thurs. 23rd, and I got an email that it was shipped the same day. So far customer service at both stores have been great, although the eGo Twist didn't come with a manual. Is this normal? Does anyone know if there are manuals online?

Again I am brand new to vaping and I don't know anyone who does vape, meaning I'm a hardcore newbie. Any help, suggestions, advice, or tips is encouraged and greatly appreciated.

I would like to thank Grimmgreen, Dr Vapor, and Jeff Hudson for the knowledge they share on there YouTube sites.

Your last line is going to be plagirized by me.

I can't help you as there are SO MANY good, valuable places to buy EVERYTHING.

The manual though...click the button 5 times, more if one of your clicks doesn't register.

See the bottom dial? Turn that up, or down according to how you like it...slowly!

It's will all come full circle.

Thanks for your replies. #Thesystemhasfailed is that Ronnie James Dio... rock on! One of the first songs I learned to play on acoustic Guitar was "Rock You Like A Hurricane"
#elscorcho thanks for the tip on clearomizers. I was looking at the iClear 30, I'll check out Discount Vapors. I'm in Tampa Florida about 10min from Bush Gardens.

Mpevo, as many others probably have already mentioned, it is completely normal for your ego twist to have not arrived with any type of manual. Items mfg in China rarely do. They are really simple to use though, and I'm sure that if you run into any issues you can always pop some more questions in here....happy vaping and good luck!

Congratulations and welcome to ECF Mpevo!

Manuals are rare in this world... Youtube videos are a lifesaver! Watch as many as you can! There isn't much to a Twist; 5 clicks turns your battery on and off, the little dial on the bottom of the battery adjusts voltage--but you're going to need a magnifying glass to see their pitiful markings. Start at 3.4v or so and adjust down or up to taste.

Wrt samples, some vendors make you buy their sample cobos, others let you buy small bottles--3 or 5 ml. Look around and always order the smallest bottle you can find.

I also have an ego twist and grabbed an assortment of tanks to start. Purchased a Cartomizer and Atomizer Ohm Meter from madvapes along with a 510 Battery to eGo Atomizer Adapter (for reading ego threaded stuff). The meter will read 510 901/808 but need the adapter for ego style threading. This way you know how many ohm's the tank, cartomizer etc. is and adjust the voltage accordingly to your taste.

The meter and adapter was 22.50 plus shipping if I remember. I found some juice to taste better in a boge LR (low resistance) cartomizer than the pro tank (HHV's Legend is a prime example). Tasted very muted in the pro tank to me, and a bit metallic. (this was with very little steeping).

Vaping Power Chart 2.0.jpg

Here is a chart to use. and a link within to ohms law calculator as well (Ohm's Law Calculator). I prefer the taste and pull to a cartomizer , but it's more fussy and hands on to use, so mostly home use or carry a bit of juice with me on the go and drip 3-5 drops when it gets weak. Also purchase a drip tip if going that route. Hopefully the chart shows up. HHV's juice is of high quality...pinkspot has got some decent reviews , but seems a little over priced to me. Happy vaping.
