Hello! I am Lisa in NC and purchased an E-Cig last week at a mall Kiosk. It is the Smoke Free brand. I have been smoking almost 2 packs of cigs per day for the last 30 years and with prices skyrocketing I am hoping this will help me break the analog habit!
I have really enjoyed reading this forum and watching the videos. I have already cut down to about 1/2 pack of analogs per day by vaping!

I ordered some juice and cartridges from Johnson Creek today and hope the carts will fit on my model.

I also ordered some cartomizers from Smoke Free which I am hoping will last longer than the regular cartridges.

Glad to be here! :)

Welcome to ECF and your avatar is adorable!!!! I really don't know which model a smoke free is but I am sure someone will. Cartomizers and carts are for specific models. Good luck on your new journey!!!!!

Yeah - that's our baby Sam! He is a 3 yr. old basset hound and the love of our lives here at home! I think I have the Smoking Everywhere model after reading other posts and I know I spent way too much for it - should have checked out this forum BEFORE I purchased! Oh well - we live and learn!

Thanks for the welcome! Your avatar is nice too!

Welcome to ECF and don't worry about paying too much for your first e-cig, it got you started and you found your way here. I was months trying on my own before I found this forum. It is a blessing, I now have a pretty pink Joye eGo e-cig and I love it. You can use the juice you ordered to fill your cartomizers, I do it with my old ones for my overpriced e-cig. I use a 18 gauge hypodermic needle I got from the pharmacy for 20 cents. I know there is another way to do it, I am sure someone will let you know how. This is a great forum you will get lots of support and when you have questions, just ask, someone will help. I find myself on here all the time now just reading and reading, lots of great info.

Welcome to the ECF! There's a lot of people, including me, who found the forum after making their first purchase. As Lisa B said, it got me started. Now that I know more about what I want, I'll be purchasing an eGo in a few days and I can't wait to get it in the mail.

Are you throwing away the cartridges after you've used up the juice? You don't have to throw them away. You can remove the filling, rinse it really well under hot water, dry and then put back before adding more juice. Or, if you're using the same type of juice that is already in them, you can just add more juice.

I don't have any juice yet but ordered it yesterday as well as some empty carts. I have been saving my spent cartridges that I received with my e-cig in hopes that I can refill them also. I also ordered some pre-filled cartomizers that I hope I can refill also once they are spent! There's a lot to learn about this new toy! LOL

A bit of a warning... Any juice you add to pre-filled cartridges or cartomizers may not mix well with what it was pre-filled with. Sometimes it does mix well and you end up liking it, but there are some flavors that you'll find don't work well together at all. LOL

Just another thought, when I first started I thought I needed tobacco flavors to keep me off the smokes but I found out that I actually prefer sweet or fruit flavors and don't care for the tobacco flavors at all. So try and order some juice in sample sizes of lots of different flavors and give them a try. I like FreedomSmokeUSA because they have quality juice in a wide range of flavors and nicotine levels in all sizes including sample sizes with cheap shipping. There are many, many companies this just happens to be one that I like. Ask around and you will get a wide variety of quality juice suppliers.
