Hey everyone,
I've been vaping for about two years now, and have decided to start dripping. For the last few weeks, I have been dripping on an IGO-W, 26G Kanthal single coil (7 wrap micro coil reading at 0.8ohms) on my istick 30w.

I just recently purchased a new battery that arrived yesterday, and was wondering if anyone had advice/tips on producing some fat clouds! Dual coils? Different coil builds? Number of wraps? Watts to vape at? I think you get the picture lol.

The items I will be using are as follows:
-SMOK XPRO M80 Plus
-IGO-W
-26 Gauge Kanthal Wire
-Japanese Organic Cotton
- 80vg/20pg Juices

Can I produce good clouds with these things? Or do I need to buy a better RDA other than the IGO-W?
All input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah you might wanna get a better atty than the IGO. There's always the almighty Mutation X....I got my V3 from a BM for 35 bucks (can be found online for like 20), and it is amazing. It's got way more airflow than that IGO, unless you drill it out. If you wanna chuck clouds you definitely need airflow.

edit:

Oh yeah re builds and stuff, with a regulated device like you got, you got much more leeway as to what you can do. But I stick with mechs so someone else would be better to answer about specific builds etc.

Your build seems pretty good to me. The question is, what is your airflow like? You could drill out the airhole to 2 or 2.5mm (if you havent already done so), or add a second one for a dual coil build. Should be fine around 30W.

If you want a new atty, by all means, there are plenty of them out there, and everyone has their opinion on what is 'best'. My suggestion would be to explore the IGO a bit more, as it will help your decision making on what to buy next.

Check out the troll rda and buy the chuff top. It's a cloud chasers dream. Awesome air flow, can be built in single or dual coil and it's cheap. Most stores sell it for under $30 and the wide bore drip top/chuff top is about $5

Like everyone else said, you're definitely going to want a new RDA. However, not a bad choice to go with the igo for learning how to set your coils up and get started. If you're looking for clouds then go for a cloud chasing atty, the mutation x v3, the archon by CCI, even a doge v2 competition would all be a great upgrade and would pay for themselves over time. For now, I'd perfect coils on the IGO so that way you know you're going to be set when you do upgrade.
