I just got the DIY bug. I ordered just a few things to get me started and am wondering what the easiest juice might be to make with what I ordered below.

After you get your nic and all that sorted, Mix up some of that milk choc toffee with some of the hazelnut (start at about 5% each)
nom nom nom

Thanks! Will Do. I can't wait. Thinking I should pick up some sweetener as well.

My suggestion would be to make 3 ml samples of only your PG/VG blend (no nic) and a drop of whatever sweetener(s) you want to try.
Load up a carto (or what ever) and vape it alone a couple hours. (at that ratio it will be VERY sweet)

I like EM.
I don't like Stevia (to vape. I love to drink it in decaf ice tea in the afternoons)
Sucralose makes my intestines unhappy. (although I do like the taste in vape, so I have to look through ingredient lists on websites if I can find them.)

But most of all, have fun being your inner mad scientist!

Excelent suggestion. Thanks. I didn't think of that.

I'm going to give it one more try and then go back to spending a bunch on pre made juice. Since starting my DIY I've been slowly slipping back to my analog habit again. The juices I've been trying are wicked strong smelling and not flavorful to my tongue at all. I've been doing 10 ml batches with 10% flavoring. Pretty sure this is too much so I'm going to go down to 5% and then take a break for a while and go back to pre made until my taste buds readjust and then maybe try 2.5 % flavor.

You didn't mention what flavoring company you're using. Some need to go lower, and some need to go higher. I routinely mix Capellas at 20%, and some TPA at 10% or less, so it really depends.

On a side note. I haven't found a way to get plastic bottles clean and flavor free after a batch. I thought about going to glass bottles with droppers but can't see how I'd get the rubber droppers clean as well.

I throw the glass bottles and droppers in a sinkful of really hot water, and let them soak for a bit, then let them air dry overnight, you can swab the dropper and rubber top with a q-tip to get any excess water out.

Thanks,
Lately I've been using capella flavors at 10%.

Ill order some glass bottles and droppers on Monday. No reason to keep throwing out 10 ml plastic bottles I guess eh?

Start at 1% and work up.
It's easier to add a drop than wind up with 100ml of something you don't like by diluting.

I have some concentrated lemon (not Capellas, tho) that 2 drops will flavor 30ml.

Bottles:
I bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a large container. Add several drop of dish soap. Throw in the bottles one at a tie and using kitchen tongs, squeeze it several times to get the soapy water in. Toss in caps and dropper thingys.
Rinse the next morning (squeeze again under warm running water. Works for all but cinnamon and butterscotch, so far.

Thanks. Sounds good starting at 1%.

I'll try cleaning some plastic ones tonight using this method.
