No, no,no!!! I'm puffing away on my passthru...and all of a sudden...NOTHING! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this thing, I can't live without it, LOL!!!

Seriously, this really sucks so bad. I'm ordering a new one, but I can't until tomorrow. And then it will be Sat or so before I get it...grr....

I wonder if its just the battery in it? Should I just get a new battery instead?

I'd hate to do that, though, and it not be the problem, and have to wait even longer on a new one.

I know its not the computer plug, it won't work with the usb port in my car, either.

I would remove the battery and check the voltage at the lead coming to the battery box. If it is 5v then your good there. Check continuity from the lead from the battery box to the atty connector. Should have continuity. Check continuity from Negative shell of the atty connector to the usb plug. There should be continuity. If every thing checks good then it's the battery.

This is total Greek to me, LOL.

I will let hubby look at though, I'm sure he will understand.

He has one of those little gadgets that checks electricity. He loves that thing, he's always using it.

Mine just died as well.Only had it for a month. It is a dead batt ,unit still ok just no working with dead batt.I am in need of getting one

Nah, just cut the battery box off, splice the wires back together, and get a 5v 2Amp wall-wart or cigarette lighter adapter like these at Mad Vapes (wow, these used to be cheaper I think, shop around).

If you liked the 3.7 volts coming from that in-line battery, you'll love 5 Volts! Remember, most "charger" type adapters only put out 0.5 Amps, you need 1.5 to 2 Amps to make the atty work. Some attys will barely work with an iPhone adapter, they put out 1 Amp.

2 amp AC to USB Adapter, ideal for Passthroughs

Also, I used a different unit of measurement than you will probably see when shopping for this stuff, to make it easier to understand. You will most likely see the Amperage expressed as mA, or milliamps. It's pretty straightforward:

500 mA = 0.5 Amp
1000 mA = 1 Amp
1500 mA = 1.5 Amps
2000 mA = 2 Amps

2 amp Car to USB Adapter

I don't use my passthrough that much anymore, /.../

I don't, either... I'm not sure why that is. It may be the lack of portability... I've been thinking of making a pocket-sized, portable "power pack" for a passthrough, to see how useable it is. I've heard a lot of people really like their Kensingtons.
