So i finally got my Provari. Ordered it over 2 weeks ago. I work offshore and just made it home. It has been here waiting for me since Feb 14th. Anyway, I love it, but I do have a question about my Ibtanked topper Ive got on it. First, I can't get the ring to work right. With the ring, I can't screw it down enough to get it to fire. Without the ring, it hits great and has great flavor, but its really loud and airy, is this normal? I have the 22mm XL. Has anyone run into these problems? I put the PT2 that came with it on there and it makes hardly any sound at all. Although if I screw down tight, it chokes off all air ana won't hit, but I figure I just need to the the Areo tank base to correct this.

Extend the carto out of the bottom of the tanks just a little so it catches the threads. It should work I have that set up and it's great. Cartos can be loud at first but they should calm down after a bit.

ok, I'm using the ring. as i screwed it down, it pulled the carto down to where it is sitting flush, or just a hair lower than flush with the top cap. is this OK? seems like it may leak if turned upside down. the air draw is much better with the ring.

It won't leak that is what happens with mine. Been using that set up for a while now no leaks what so ever! Sweet! glad you got it running!

I had trouble with my IBTanked pro ring and IBTanked initially. As the others have said, just make sure to extend the bottom of the carto slightly to add some length to make the electrical connection with the Provari center pin. Also make sure the pro ring is centered symetrically on the Provari; if its off to one side slightly it may block the air holes.
