I'm just curious how many people in NoVa have made the switch from analogs. I have been vaping for over a year now and I am new to the forum. I just bought my first Provari and Phiniac tank and am loving life right now. Since my switch I have realized that it seems the e-cig community in the NoVA isn't to prevalent. Are you out there? Let me know!

JRoxxx, how is your vaping experience going along and which sites are your major sources for devices and juices? I do not think we have any shop close in town so we have to continue to order stuff online. I have all my devices coming in from LiteCigUSA. Shipping is very fast for us since their shop is in Pennsylvania.

I tried juices from many places, variety of flavors, now finally settled and all my juices are coming from Good Life Vapor

Hi, I've been vaping for about a month and a half. I live in Reston and go in to DC quite a bit. Anyone know if there are any vape shops in the area?
Resurrecting an older thread...

"In late June, Reston became the first town in Washington to address the use of e-cigarettes when the Reston Association board of directors voted unanimously to ban them from public spaces." (Washingtonian)

My Vapez Lounge in Herndon is 100% vape... starter kits up to Caravelas (until the latter sold out, anyway). They'll be opening a second shop in October ... Falls Church, I think? This is a solid local resource, one of the few local places I've found to sample juice before buying, for example.

Smoke Time and Capital Cigar and Tobacco, both in Annandale, have some vape stuff in addition to tobacco products, but most of it is basic. Still, good to have some brick-and-mortar options nearby. Imho Smoke Time is the better of the two.

A big thank you for the info on My Vapez Lounge! Had no idea they were in Herndon, and will be checking them out this weekend.

It's a good place. I'm looking forward to the second location.

For those willing to drive for quite a while, VapeXcape in Reisterstown, MD, is also a nice shop. (I went today, wanting to see what was being offered elsewhere.)

How is Smoke Time? Their website is kind of ridiculous. No real info about their juices...
Their website is ludicrous, I agree.

Pro: For a store that's not dedicated to vaping, I think the juice selection was reasonably varied, including Uncle Junk, Villain Vapors, White Rhino, and some others in different flavors & nic strengths.
Meh: As with many B&M stores I've visited, the juices were somewhat overpriced, but that'll do in a pinch.
Con: They did not, last time I was there, have any means of tasting the juices.

Pro: They have not only starter kits but also some advanced equipment, which is not bad for a store not dedicated to vaping.
Con: As with many B&M stores I've visited, these were somewhat overpriced.

Pro: The guy working the counter when I was there was very laid back and never pushy. He doesn't mind if you're just there to look, ask questions, whatever.

It's definitely worth stopping by. Better than nearby Capital Cigar, I think.

Good to know, thanks. Do you recommend any juices from there? I normally get all my stuff online because it's pretty cheap and fairly fast but I have no problems paying more to support a local B&M if it's not run by d-bags, lol.

I feel like it's a pretty good sign that Smoke Time is carrying some brands that can also be found in vape-dedicated stores around the area.

I've enjoyed a couple of the flavors I got at Smoke Time (one Villain Vapors and one Uncle Junk) quite a bit. I'm not very wild about the third flavor I got at Smoke Time, but I've found that by mixing it with another juice I didn't care for (from a different store) I can create a juice I do like (alchemy!).
