CloudZ, Uh, hate sounding less than bright, but what's a "dry burn"?

It's where you fire the coil when the wick is not in contact with a reservoir of juice. You can only do this with heat resistant wicks such as silica and ss mesh, but you also can dry burn a coil with no wick in it (for instance, if you are going to slide a fresh cotton wick through it once it is clean). I usually find a dry burn works best after rinsing with hot water, just pulse it red until the steam and hiss stops.
