I know this is a post for the rba part of the forum but I am unable to post there yet.
I am running two strands of 32g kanthal twisted tight forming a 4/3 coil around SS wick on a Magneto mech mod. Right now I'm using my 18350 relatively fresh off the charger (my 18650 is charging). I'm not getting a ton of vapor. I don't have a multimeter just yet so I am estimating but I should be around 1.5 Ohms. What could my problem be? In this video he's using almost the same set up and getting much better performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGH2rUy1Hrc

The first and most important thing is that you should never fire an rba on a device until you have already tested the resistance with a meter. This is especially true when using a mechanical mod, without any safety features built in. You can use a multimeter, a mod that has an ohm meter, or one of those 510 atomizer ohm reader things. You should take the RBA off until you have tested it with a meter. It could be very unsafe.

A very common newbie mistake is not allowing for airflow. The atty will not produce much vapor if there is not air flowing across the coil. This is done by positioning the airhole in front of the coil, so when you suck in, the air comes into the atty.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Without knowing, for certain, what the resistance of the coil is it is really kind of hard to evaluate what the problem would be. My suggestion would be to go back to whatever you were using before your RBA and wait until you can make a full analysis of the RBA electrically with a meter. You are playing with a device that could produce a whole lot of heat in a very short time and holding that up to your face, so caution is a good idea here.

without knowing the ohms of your build, it is impossible to trouble shoot. You could have a 2.5 ohm build, you could have a short in the build, did the coils turn evenly red when you pulsed tested it and adjust your coils to get rid of hot spots? Genies are the hardest build to get right anyways. Wick and coil need to break in before a good tasty vape is produced.

They all heated evenly glowing just a bit brighter from the inside out. Everything looked good. I did in fact switch to my carto until I pick up a multi meter to be safe, I'm just trying to gather all the information I can. Here's a picture of what it looked like. IMG_5703.jpg
