For some reason I'm not getting a good throat hit, I've got a 0.4 ohm coil in my triton and 50w I'm getting a big cloud but not a good hit. Could it be the coil?

What milligram nicotine you using? And the Triton as I have experienced, it hits VERY smoothly with a lot of flavor. I could hardly tell I was using it when I tried that tank. The way the tank is based on my experience with it is that it won't give much a throat hit. After letting it sit for long periods of time it takes forever to heat up and "floods" more or less. In reality, I'm not 100% on how the other coil hits because I haven't tried it, but the .4 doesn't give that great a throat hit.

I'm using 6% nicotine. I was getting a decent hit if i pulled hard, I've got the bottom vent wide open. Like i said I'm getting a huge cloud... Maybe it's the juice? Unicorn blood. I was getting decent hits with another juice.

Some juices hit harder than others. That I have noticed. If you want a good throat hit, I'd try a different tank that you can rebuild on if you want to take the time to do it. Unicorn blood hits really smoothly in my experiences with it.

If you're getting the nic you need with 6, don't mess with that. But you could use a higher ratio of PG in your juice for more throat hit. Or a little-- *very* little, like no more than 1 or 2% -- of PGA to bump the TH a bit.
More VG, less PG will give less of a throat hit. No clue about your juice, but you answered your own question.
Whats the pg/vg ratio of it? Higher pg and nic level usually determine throat hit. Try closing the vent a little and see if that helps.
I've also got the Herakles tank. I've got boss reserve in there. It hits like a charm. Waiting for my istick 100w so i can hit it hotter.

@Bantam59, that's an amazing tank. The Heracles is a good choice and never heard anything bad about it, nor had a bad experience with it. I just want an RBA/RDA for it to be released!

No clue...i tried closing the vent still no difference in the hit. I'm guessing after what I'm getting Told here it's the juice.

The higher the nicotine the harder the hit should be so it isn't the nicotine being too low or anything. A 6 nic level should be hitting pretty well in a tank subtank. The Triton as I stated earlier just hits really smoothly based on my experiences.
