Not getting the flavor I expected from vision clearomizer

I just purchased a vision clearomizer to give it a try. I'm using an ego twist and getting great vapor, however I can kind of taste a bit of the burnt kind of taste when I'm vaping it. I was told to fill it up as far as i can so that the wick can get to the juice so I'm not understanding why i'm not getting good flavor with this.....am I doing something wrong?

I don't know if you have the longer wicks or the shorter ones, but many people say the longer ones don't wick as well.

Also I know with the wicks that come with the nova, they seem to vape and taste better after your first tank of juice.

They are short wicks. Maybe I'm not tipping it enough? I tip it every couple of draws....didn't think I would need to every time I vaped it.

Solved- There was a round rubber piece just below both of the wicks which was on there pretty tight and probably restricting the wicks. I removed it and am getting great flavor and vapor. I'm not having any leaking issues either so I'm not sure what purpose it serves but it seems to vape better without it.

I wish I could give credit to the OP but someone posted here once that clearomizers/stardusts/etc when they work are the greatest things in the world and when they fail it is an epic fail. I've had a box of Phoenix bottom coils that I thought was the greatest thing ever and the next whole box was flawed and broken. Lots of clearo/CE2/CE3/CE4 are like that--they are hit or miss with crappy QC and consistency. The EC vendors just ram crap down people's throats and the Chinese QC blows and we are told "no refunds" or have to try to mod them. So expect to throw a ton of money away on stuff that 1 time works great and 1 time sucks and leaks all over you in bed, until you find a product that you like and can make dependable. Cartomizers are the #1 reliable thing--the rest you should play around with for fun until you find a product you like with a vendor that is CONSISTANT! Don't--like I did--drop big $$ on many boxes only to find they suck. Better to buy 1 item/box to try--1 Stardust/kanger?fluxomizer box and see how it goes.

Since you have an eGo C Twist, dial it down to about 3.8-4.0. It seems to be the sweet spot for the clearos. Our tanks arrived today and I'm happy since the clearos were giving us all sorts of problems.

I fluffed up the wick tips and it seems to be a little more consistant now......for the moment lol I really want to like this clearomizer.....

I bought 2 c4 cleros this weekend and they are crap compared to my first set I bought from a diff vendor. Ten bucks down the drain. I hope those bottom coils work out for me when they come tomorrow.

I bought 5 vision ce4 2 clear ones and 3 colored ones...the clear ones work great and all 3 colored ones suck....kinda weird

i have 3 clearomizers and they are all in consistent as well.....

all 5 were sup to be 2.4 ohms......but while cleaning them i noticed that the clear ones the coil is wrap around the wick 3 times while the clored ones its 4 times.....so im thinking the clear ones are more likely 1.8 ohms ..which is why the prob work better on my ego bat.

I stopped using them as well. I just like the taste out of a cart better. Currently using a boge 510 on my ego-c, and I'm loving it.

After lots of fiddling I found that if you look at the top of the atomizer above the wick, there is a rubber piece that seals the atomizer. If you back it up a tiny bit...and I mean tiny it doesn't take much, then it seems to let the wicks work better. If you back it up too much, you can't put the tip back on and you will flood the atomizer. Like I said it doesn't take much and the improvement was awesome, great flavor and vapor.

It'S a good clearo with little maintenance needed, but one needs to know what the thing can and cannot deliver.
