Hi all

Come across the forum while looking for info online.
Some help would be great!
I'm using an IPV D2 box
I have a jaybo indestructible RDA
Also a omega RTA by advken
(Both twin micro coils around 0.80ohm it states on the digital screen)
I'm using both around 20w and clouds are not very big - anything above 20w it's burning very hot and destroying my throat.
The juice is 6mg nicotine and 50/50 VG/PG

I'm very new to this and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have the machine to measure the build -as I have seen people always have in reviews etc.
The digital screen on the mod 0.79ohm RDA and 0.89ohm RTA.
Anything over 1.10ohm seems to burn very hot.

And lower that 0.50ohm didn't burn well.

As I said I'm new to this. The shop where I got it said 0.90 is a good benchmark... But I not really got an idea.

Assuming the same wattage and wire gauge, a lower resistance (ohms) will produce a warmer vape.

So you have two 1.6 ohm coils which brings it to .8.
1.6 ohm coil are only good to about 20 watts.
It is not the juice as it is your build.
Get your self 5 posts and you can go to the coil building forum and read up on all the information.
CHEERS!
Hi, sorry to bother you with a fob question but Im new here too and I cant figure out how to post to get my 5 posts. Is there a faq i could go to? Does a reply count as a post? Thanks for you help.

Got 3 posts now. :) :) Kinda hard to explain in short term then you go out and get your self in trouble and I would feel bad. Their is a lot more to coil building that just twisting wire and attaching it to screws. I could go on for an hour explaining and just be touching the surface. Wicking is very important as well. We have no idea what gauge of wire, kinda of wire you are using size of coil, what you are wicking it with. Until you post all that sorta stuff and understand it, not much help can be had. That's all. Certainly not trying to be rude but looking out for your safety. CHEERS!

So 6 wraps is about right and that is all you are going to get with that wire. Likely nothing wrong with the shop that sold it to you as it appears they wanted to keep you safe with high ohms to learn. Not much else you can do with the wire you have. I wrap coils I try to keep between 5 and 8 wraps most of the time when I can. I can never see a point of going under 5 or 6 wraps. CHEERS!
