Just my opinion but 3 weeks is not enough time to get your taste and sense of smell back, especially if you've been smoking for a couple of decades. If it was me, I would just sit the stuff on the back of the shelf for awhile and then have another go of it. I've been off cigs for over a year now and I still have to do that. If after, say a month, it still doesn't taste like anything, put it up for sale or trade it in one of the many pay it forward threads. I wish you the best of luck!

I will give these recommendations a shot - but once again all other flavors I have taste great including other tobacco flavors I have, and french pipe. I just ordered some flavoring so worse come to worse I will use this as a PG base. I doubt this bottle will start tasting like much of anything, if so I'll fix it myself instead of selling it. It's like vaping wax. For now, I'll stick to the Apple Pie. It has a really good strong flavor to it.

Well I know there's something up with it because when I watched big jim (i think that's his name) review of it on youtube, he was talking about how strong the smell was, and how he could smell it even in the mailbox before opening it. This is DEFINITELY not the case. I can put my nose right up to it and not smell a thing. It's not me, my sense of smell is very good and the apple pie from TV is actually one of the tastiest best smelling liquids I've ever had. This liquid is like water. It has NO SMELL, NO FLAVOR, and NO REFUNDS.

Bastage,

Good to see you!! It has been a long while. This has been reported before and might very well have been a bad batch. When you say no smell or flavor, that is what I suspect it is. Why don't you give Mr. Tasty a heads up and see if he will take care of you. Give me a PM and let me know how you make out.

Glad to see you giving the e-cig another shot.

Keep in mind, the stuff that Big Jim got was BEFORE we were doing our maceration for a month. His stuff was only aged one week. And he tastes everything just fine. The stuff you got Bastage, had been aged one month, was dark, rich and with an all PG Doubler of Tobacco, this means you also got around 70% of the macerations, so I KNOW your tastebuds must be "off".

But if you really need us to be your "bad guy", cool.

And I know better than anybody, mixing these liquids, there are days when the aroma of certain flavorings are overpowering and a few days later, I swear, I can't smell anything. Tastebuds/sense of smell is a quirky thing. And smoking for years, I can tell you FIRST HAND how badly I've screwed up my sense of smell, which is thankfully, returning over time, but the damage has been done.
Hi Mr. tastyvapor! I just ordered from you today, have ordered from you before, and the service and the juice are excellent. I am the one going on a cruise in 2 weeks,I left you a message telling you about my upcoming vacay and I want to thank you for actually reading my message and responding to it!Now thats a personal touch,I was surprized and pleased!:):):)

I just ordered 2 doublers from TV. Apple Pie, and Tobacco. The apple Pie is delicious. The Tobacco one is just terrible. It's really dark brown, but it smells and tastes like nothing, nothign at all. Even when I drip it straight from the doubler bottle. 0 flavor. What a waste this one is. I've used 6 drops and the rest will go to the trash unless I can return it and swap for another flavor.

:nah:
Toss it. I have the Tobacco and Tobacco menthol. Like I said on another thread. Tried it day one and it tasted like Throw up. Tried it 4 weeks later and it tasted like 4 week old throw up. Contact Geoff and he told me that this is what real tobacco tastes like... YUCK.. I got some Tobacco absolute... Now that's what Tobacco tastes like (fresh Tobacco)

I like it - and you know Im a fan of many vendors stuff - but I got this one n liked it - I just didnt get around to it for a while due my juice whoring ways :D So when I did get to it, it had had time to mature.
For me its best mixed with AC - as AC is too strong for me on its own -but Ive put it in pretty much everything to give stuff a rounder fuller flavor. Ive never smoked a pipe, or cigar, or tasted tobacco before so I have no idea what tobacco tastes like, but I liked this. Mixed with AC its (expletive) wonderful :) I just ordered more of it - but its NOT the doubler, (it has 12mg nic) so I cant comment on doubler flavors.
Tastes vary though - just cos one person likes a thing doesn't mean everyone will, and vice versa.

I wish this were the case, but given the history and what I've seen with ANY tobacco flavor, it has always been a love/hate relationship with tobacco above all other flavors. You either love it, or want to toss it out the window.

And I don't want to open up the flood gates and have people thinking that all they need to do to get free products from Tasty Vapor, is order from us, then post a scathing message on this forum so they can manipulate the moderators into putting pressure on us for a refund.

We invite every single person who has any reservation about our product to contact us first if they have questions about ordering, rather than assume something is going to taste LIKE THEY IMAGINE IT WILL.

I'm not inclined to think this is a bad batch either as the customer got what everybody else gets. The end result? Love/Hate

You can look all over ECF if you do a search on Tasty Vapor Tobacco, you'll find two things, people who love it, or people who hate it.

But this could be said not only about so many of OUR products, but e-liquid over all. So what are we as supplier supposed to do? Pull every product that everyone has a beef about? Dole out refunds left and right.

While we state on our website that we don't automatically give a refund for those who just don't like our stuff, we also clearly state that if anybody is unclear about what we sell, to contact us before they make a purchase.

I think I and anybody else, as a supplier has to know where to draw the line at the risk of starting an ugly trend and loophole for others to take advantage of us financially.

I don't care what you say, this juice has no taste. To call me out as if you know for a fact I'm wrong is completely insulting. Then you go on to say I'm here to cause trouble?

WTF!

Going to agree with you here Bastage. For people that do not know, Bastage is one of the most respected Members ECF has ever had. His reputation is impeccable. Bastage was among some of the first at Modding and always there to help Members out.

If Bastage says there is an issue, then there is an issue and should not be readily dismissed.

At least making inquiry instead of calling him a "scammer" would be prudent IMO. Is it that far out of the realm that you just may have shipped out a "bad batch".

I agree with mr. tasty vapor, its either you like it or you dont. I have been vaping for a year since April 4th 2009. I can tell you I have tried all kinds of eliquids from many different suppliers in ECF. I have a box of some of the worse eliquids I have ever tasted. ANd these eliquids were rated extremly high from all sorts of folks on ECF.. All I have to say is my taste buds just didn't like it..... another example I think RY4 taste like burnt caramel and stale ciggies but a lot of people swear by it.

Also did you or did you not read what he put on his sight....no refunds period. Did you not click the button before you ordered.

Just like MR. tasty vapor said "Love/Hate" relationship...

Grimmer --I have been buying E-liquid for coming on two years now, and have on several occasions received bad batches. It happens. I never once had an issue with notifying the Supplier who would ship me out a replacement bottle.

And that includes Johnson Creek who was notorious for bad mixes. Bastage did not state he did not like the taste, rather he stated that there is no taste or smell----big difference in my book.

Grim,
I've purchased juices several times that I couldn't stand to vape. Flavor is a really subjective thing. I said ok this taste is not suited to me, and I sold it. No big deal. This isn't what I'm saying with the TV. It's not that the flavor is bad it just has no flavor good bad or otherwise. That won't be a problem any more. I've just ordered the stuff to make my own flavors. Hope it works!

Bastage, you said in an earlier post you should just make your own juice and I have to say that is exactley what I do for myself. I have to agree with you though if the juice has no flavor at all I would think it was a bad batch. Its an intresting situation If Geoff gave refunds on every bottle people didnt like he would probably go broke however all people make mistakes and I think it is totally wrong to say it is impossible for it to be a bad batch. I have yet to taste any tob flavor ejuice I thought was good and I love good tob, I use tob snus so I know what good tob tastes like and ejuice just doesnt have that flavor down IMO.

All I'm saying is everyones taste buds are different. I also have some eliquids that doesnt taste like anything. It solely depends on what you eat. And what I mean by that is with the foods you eat is full of flavor or is it dull or a medieum blend. Also it will depend on your sinuses and how moist your mouth is. All these factors will change how your tastebuds register the flavor. Everyone is different... but dont let this change how you like the eliquids. I now only by TV because for 15 bucks you get 30mls of eliquid and on top of that its made fresh to order. IF you really dont want that flavor Im sure there is someone who wants it.

Again it may not taste like anything to you but to someone else it may be full of flavor. Try mixing it with other tobacco flavors you like and see what it does.... it may just be a blend you cant put down or cant get without both being mixed.... you may just be surprised with what your taste buds will do. :)

Bastage, I've been in your shoes.. and I was in the wrong. I swear up and down the last 4 bottles of atomic cinnacide I got have no cinnamon in them. That was until I had other people try them and they said they're fine. I've gone and sampled AC from two other people and I still can't taste it.
It's entirely possible you simply don't/can't taste the TV tobacco. Give it to someone else to sample and see what their impression is.

I'm one who tastes it and likes it and has ordered a lot of it and will order more of it. I'm sure that TV has 'cautioned' that it is not a concentrated flavor like most if not all other tobacco juices out there made with what I believe is tobacco absolute. I had this issue with another tobacco maceration product from Vermont Vapor Tobacco as did SmokyJoe. That juice had no flavor. After a while I could detect something in it that was good and I actually started to like it.
