I have noticed there are not many fans of the Itaste. I understand that the provari is the king of the APV world and alot of people like the Lavatube, but for the price the Itaste is very nice.. I have had mine for awhile now and really like it, it seems to do all that is said it would and looks pretty awesome as well. The size is convienent. I am not a big fan of the tidy clearos they leak. Have been using regular cartomizers, the new phoenix clearos, and the tanks that it came with for juice testing. So I was just curious as to why there are not more of us that like this little guy ??

I just got mine today and I gotta say wow. I'm madly in love with it, and I can't seem to put the sucker down- I'm so light headed I may just float away. I picked up some tidy clearos to try out, but so far I'm dripping with it, and baby, it's really shining. I finally get what makes VV users so zealous- I have seen the proverbial light.

I have an Itaste and I like it. I also own a provari's, empire's, GG's, and even the new "game changer" ego twist's... for the price the Itaste is lower on my list of fav's, but I use it with no problems and I dont hate it at all. but I think it should be closer to $30 rather then $70 or $80..... the price is really my only gripe tho!

I am happy you are liking it !! The best clearos I have used are the vision Echo thread not Ego but the Echo and the phoenix 808 bottom coils......Have you tried the tidy clearos if so what did ya think ?

I thought the tidy's were terrible...Not even close to the phoenix.... dry hit after dry hit after dry hit, even with pretty thin PG juice....

The ego twist is both cheaper and more compatible with your existing hardware. That and when you lose one, you pay $25 compared to $40.

Most of us don't need a screen and even more of us don't need or care how many puffs we're taking.

Good points...There is one place that you can get a spare for 30.00. I do want to try the twist!! I was just curious because it seemed the other APV's where getting alot more said about them...

I love your ID name by the way !!! :vapor:

:vapor: Very true I did not think about the fact that they were only being sold by a few vendors. What are you using yours with ??
I've got one plus an extra battery and I love it. Maybe you're not seeing too many people loving it as it's new and there weren't that many available to start out with.:)

The ego twist is both cheaper and more compatible with your existing hardware.

Some kits come with 4 adapters included depending on the vendor, they're also sold separately pretty reasonably, imo, so there's no reason you couldn't use it with pretty much anything else that you have.

That and when you lose one, you pay $25 compared to $40.

Most of us don't need a screen and even more of us don't need or care how many puffs we're taking.

It seemed silly to me too, but in practice, it's kinda fun. I think maybe if you were trying to figure out how many puffs it took to get to the center of a tootsie pop... er... the end of a full carto, tank cartridge, or clearo or whatever- for comparison purposes, it could be useful, or if you were deliberately trying to cut back.

Right now, I'm using mine to say "Look how cool this thing is- it even counts how many puffs I take- wait, no don't look at that..."

I don't have dry hits with the tidy clearos, might have something to do with the juice being used and what the voltage is being set at. I do have a problem with some of then leaking. That being said, and since I don't care if I can put the cap on, I can use pretty much whatever I want with the different adapters. I'm loving my bc phoenix on them :)

I got mine a couple weeks ago. It is my first VV device and i love it. Though nothing to compare it to. I got mine from Discountvapers.com and it didnt come with any atties or anything. Just came with the 510 adapter and 5 pack of pre-filled Tidy10 carto's. The Tidy's worked fine until the pre-filled juice ran out. Tried to refill them and leaking everywhere and when it isnt leaking its a tight draw. Im looking into getting a pair of atties next week and trying out the tank system.
Anyone else tried the tanks yet?

I got mine either 2 or 3 weeks ago. So far, I really like it, although I, too, am one who has no other experience with VV units to compare. Mine also came from Discount Vapers with the prefilled Tidy 10 Clearomizers. I didn't like the smell of the liquid that came in them so I emptied them out and filled them with my favorite liquid. The clearomizers aren't terrible, but they do have a rather hard draw to them which isn't too bad for me as I used light analogs which also had a sort of hard draw to them. I think I've figured out how to deal with the leaking problems, at both ends. I remove it from the battery to refill it. I make sure to have the syringe filled and ready before removing the little "stopper." It seems to act like a straw in that once the stopper is out it will leak but pretty much stops that once the stopper is back in place. After I fill it I wipe the bottom where it screws into the battery with a paper towel and twist a corner of the paper towel and insert it into the hole to mop up any liquid that might be in there. I also try to keep the unit standing upright (I use a very small, narrow glass to hold it since it has a tendency to fall over easily). I have also found that if I make certain there is a small gap, even a millimeter seems to work, between the stopper and the other little plastic thing (sorry for not knowing the correct terms for these things) with the hole to fill it. A small gap seems to prevent the liquid from getting in my mouth.

When the clearomizers work well they are great! Vapor production is good and the taste is wonderful. I don't even mind that they don't hold much liquid (only 1 ml) since I'm female and carry a purse so it's not a problem to carry around a bottle of liquid and my syringe. I like that there's no batting, and I can easily see how much liquid to put in it. They do, however, seem to get "stopped up" rather quickly. Both vapor production and flavor get reduced, although I've found I can effectively "refresh" them by dropping them into a cup of boiling water for around ten minutes (I remove both the plastic stoppers first). Still, I'd like to find something better, especially if I could find something that would still allow me to put the cap on. I clip the capped unit to my jeans' pocket to take with me when I go walking so it would be nice to find something that would still let me do that. I'm open to any suggestions if anyone has some.

I Love the iTaste! The only way it could be better is if the adapters were shorter. I took my 510 adapter and stripped it apart. There is the main body, just a block of steel (it is not a magnet) and the center pin, and the top and bottom insulators. I sawed 5 millimeters off of the adapter body and the same amount off the center pin. I smoothed all the edges and put it back together. It works fine and now has the clearance to fit the cap over the Tidy (I think the tube was too long on my Tidy) as well as the 0.9 Fluxomizer (using a flat top instead of the drip tip). I wish there were more attachments that fit under the cap. Hopefully they will sell a longer cap (with the clip in the same place) in the near future.

I fill the Tidy by placing a condom on the threaded end and I slide a syringe needle down the air hole along the side so that the air comes out easily and there is no chance of pressure building up while I fill. I tip the air vent to the high side as I fill so the air comes out easier. I fill with a syringe through the fill hole. I pull the syringes out and replace the cap before I remove the condom. I dab the bottom with a tissue and blow through it to make sure it is dry before I put it back on the iTaste. It seems like I'm over cautious, but I have never had a leak or spill. When I feel the tube getting loose on the bottom when I am cleaning, I pull the tube to the top of the serrations and put Crazy Glue around it and push the tube back down.

It is a bit friggy and I don't know if I will be willing to buy more or not. I have used one for over a week (9 days) so I will see how long the five last me, then decide.

Thanks for the tip on cleaning the Tidy with boiling water. I tried it and it worked really well. I had used one for well over a week and it was really slowing down. This brought it back considerably, although I assume that I will have to do this more and more frequently. It's definitely worth it.
