I know this isn't anything overly massive or anything, it isn't even really worth mentioning other than it is a slight change and might help some other people out if they are in the same situation I am. I own an M401 (only e-cig I have ever owned) and unlike several people I have seen on here who were having not enough air pass through the atty, I was getting way too much. Practically felt like I was sucking on air. I have had this issue since I first got my M401 and finally decided to stop being lazy and do something about it.
The solution: 1 piece of black electrical tape about 3/4-1" long that has been cut in half lengthwise.
Use the tape to cover all but 1 of the holes in the atty where it screws on to the battery or pasthru. See, simple, easy, non-permanent, and cheap. I now get a massive cloud of vapour that hangs in the air almost as long as the smoke from an analogue on exhale. Not to mention the increase in the intensity of the flavour of the vape is much improved (I can now actually taste it rather than only taste air) which I am totally loving.
If anyone has any ideas for a more permanent and low cost way to block those other 3 intake holes on the M401 attys, please let me know. Also, one that doesn't require peeling off electrical tape every time I change out the battery would be a bonus, but for right now this works. Hope this helps a couple other people as well.
