So I use the vapor chart that shows ohms and voltages. If I have a BDC aspire nautilus atomizer and its 1.8 ohm do I go by 1.8 ohm or double it to 3.6 ohm. I have seen many conflicting answers to this question.
I have been using and still use smok Cartomizers at 2.0 or 3.2 ohms and they are single coil so its easy to use the chart.
What about aspire dual coils for their smaller tanks. Do you double those ohms are keep it at 1.8 or 2.1 ?

Thanks for any input (preferably from an experienced user, (inset wink here)
:p

That's what I thought. I read in another thread someone saying to double it. Like ya'll say I just go by what ohm my MVP and VV3.3 are reading.
So that big ole Nautilus tank with a 1.8 ohm atomizer should run at 3.4 volts or so.
I go higher with my 2.0 cartomizers. usually 3.6 and the 3.2 ohm cartomizer I go up to 4.2 - 4.5. With the BDC Aspires they seem to get burnt quick if I go much above 3.3 volts. I think I'm liking cartomizers more and more. I had a bad run of about 30 Aspire atomizers I bought so I pulled out the ole trusty cartomizer and I'm realizing I should just use those. Funny circle of life for me and vaping ...

When you buy a pre-made dual coil head they just tell you the total resistance and that's what matters when looking at the charts.
Single 2 ohm coil and dual 2 ohm coil (2 coils each 4 ohms) is the same thing for you.

I see no reason to use charts in the first place, different attys can handle different voltage with the same resistance, rebuilt heads can handle more voltage then pre-made heads.
And theres also personal preference involved.
Just take each of yr attys, start low and go higher and higher in V/W until you find your optimal setting for each.
