Hello everybody at ECF. I'm DeLuca, and I've had a PV for about a year now.
I started with a Joye 510 starter kit and some juice. I didn't like the inconsistancy, so I invested in a Joye eGo-T and wow did I love it.

I stopped using it for a while for no reason.
But recently I picked it back up, but again found myself unsatisfied because of the flavor and cold vapor.

Now I want to upgrade again. I've been checking out this forum and reviews everywhere. So I thought I would join up and get some insight from the pros here.

Budget is somewhat flexible, so I have been looking at the Provari in hopes of longevity and performance. I would also like a tank system with it. Only problem is the polycarbonate tubing I've seen everywhere. Also, with my self-diagnosed OCD, I would like it to look flush and "natural".

Anyway, I'm glad to have signed up, and you all will see me time to time. :2cool:

Thank you!

Wow! Ego-T to a Provari? That's a big jump!
Might I suggest you look at slightly lesser priced variable-voltage options? The Provari is very, very good but expensive.
have you checked out the Notcigs 'Buzz' and their 'Infinity Pro'? There is also the recently introduced Lavatube.

Welcome, DeLuca.

I went through a similar situation. Went from Greensmoke, to an eGo, then just decided to take the plunge with the Provari along with a MAP tank. Love both of them. No regrets. Smoke-free for over two months and that's worth a hell of a lot more to me than the money spent on the vaping hardware. MAP tank is poly, but as others have mentioned there are other options out there if you wish.

The way I see it, if you have the means and it keeps you off of the cigarettes, do whatever it takes. Life is too short as it is.

From what you just stated, I highly suggest the Provari. Somewhere on thse boards, there is a thread called "Show us your rig" or something like that. It has the most beautiful setup I've EVER seen. I wish I had the time to find it for you.
Good Luck!

I can't speak to the Provari, because I don't have one. However, I can vouch for the GGTS. Performance and longevity, yes, and while it's not adjustable on-the-fly, the different combinations of batteries it will take provide different voltages. The engineering is superb, and the designer keeps an eye on his section here and responds to questions personally. The UFS tank system is a dream to use (once you learn a few basic lessons, like not opening both juice and air controls all the way *headdesk*) and comes with a stainless center section interchangable with the plastic one. The GGTS+UFS is not an inexpensive option, but it's user-serviceable, takes the same kind of batteries as the Provari (but a wider range), is incredibly tough/resilient, and is purely mechanical beyond the protection circuits in the batteries themselves -- even the button can be upgraded to use magnets instead of a spring to remove a potential point of failure. For matching, you can get end caps that are the same stainless as the body, and with those, a stainless atomizer, and a stainless drip tip, the GGTS looks amazing. The most important thing for me, though, was that the device itself would be incredibly difficult to cause to fail. Batteries age and die, and atomizers puff their last, but the GGTS itself will outlast hundreds of those consumables. I don't mean to derail you if your decision is made, but it sounds like those might be qualities you'd value.

That said, the Provari is gorgeous, and I love the feature set, and next time I'm feeling self-indulgent, I might have to get one myself.

Wow! Thanks for the advice everyone! Oh, and space0matic, I cannot view that link you wanted me to look at.

I've been sitting on making this decision for a little over a week now, and I'm still doing my research. I've seen the GGTS, and I do think it looks better than the Provari, but there things I'm picky with, like button placement and VV (on the fly). The GGTS is an amazing device, but I'm still leaning towards the Provari. Weight isn't really an issue, so again Provari. I'm a weird one lol.

Only downfall I'm seeing is the polycarbonate tubing for most tank systems! I've also seen pyrex glass and SS tubings, both of which have they're ups and downs. From what I'm seeing, a Provari with JoboyUSMC's Lavatanks with a polypropelyne tubing would be PERFECT! but Jonboy's tanks seem difficult to acquire...Ugh!

But, so far I'm really liking this forum and its knowledgeable members with great hands-on advice. Thanks everyone!
