Short story smoked 2pad for 13 yrs quit with chanax and started up again. Tried friends BLU cig and wasn't cutting it although liked the concept. Ordered a ego-c from TW with some patriot jucie. Little scared by some posts regarding ego-c but keeping positive. Any tips and tricks would be great. So far one the best forums I've ever seen good people and info everywhere.

Welcome to ECF! I also can't speak to the EGO-c but I'm sure it will be fine to get you going. As Tiny said, you will have plenty of help and advice along the way. Just beware of anyone who tries to tell you there is one right answer, no matter what it is, when it comes to anything to do with vaping. Go with what you like and what works for you and have fun!

Don't have an ego but I've heard people loving it and some that hate it but it's the same with all mods. Some love my Lavatube (I DO!) some hate it, I think you're going to be fine............. Just ask questions, ego users will be happy to help you if needed. And most important of all: HAVE FUN vaping!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Welcome Jeremyv :) I've only been vaping for about 3 months now(I smoked 1-2pad for 24 years), and ego-c's with vision stardust tanks are all I use. I wanted something simple and I've been very happy and had zero problems with mine. They've been a great intro into vaping for me...maybe someday I'll graduate to something more complicated and expensive, but for now I'm more than content. I think one of the biggest things about vaping is finding juice that you enjoy. I know once I found juice I really loved, cigs tasted really nasty in comparison and I had no desire to light one anymore.

Best of luck to you Jeremy! I am in the same boat 2 packs a day for a very long time myself. I've tried every method under the sun, as well. I am now waiting for my PV to show up next week and I am going to give it everything I have to kick this habit once and for all. Just remember, even if you have few cigs a day for a little while you are still way better off than you were before. I've heard that in time you will dislike the taste so much that you will go 100% vape.

Good luck on your journey and remember their are a ton of us out there in the same boat.

Congrats & welcome....I have the ego-c & I do like it. What I didn't like was the horrible luck I had w/cleaning the heads. I couldn't get more than 4 days out of the C heads; could have been me, however, very upsetting. I wound up ordering various cartos & clearos & am having success in both the cleaning & extended life (usually). Don't know if this helped- but good luck to you - I'm sure you'll do just great.

Welcome Jeremy. Don't worry about the ego-c. Look on the bright side; you could've gotten the ego-T! :D

Seriously, all the main complaints with the ego C seem to be related to wicking and/or the atomizers. There are some tips that some ego-c users will be glad to share if you have problems with those. Worse case is that you'll do like most people and forget the "C" stuff and just use it with cartomizers or the Stardust clearomizers or something. Fortunately, it'll take a low resistance 510 carto/clearo so you won't be stuck with ego's tank system if you don't like it.

I hear the Stardusts are on sale this weekend in a lot of places. You might want to grab a few so you don't have to go through the frustration of sorting out the "C" while you're craving nicotine.

Can't help with your hardware, I've been vaping a kgo (ego clone) for a day now, but want to say good luck!! I smoked about a pack a day full flavor for 35 yrs. Quit many years ago, cold turkey, for 7.5 months, wanted one every day of that time, finally went back. Got my kgo yesterday evening, and have been fine so far, little over 24 hrs. Some craving for a cig, but nothing I couldn't handle. I ordered a 5 pk sample of juice (3ml bottles) they sent a 6th one, and got a free bottle from vapedudes. Paid a nickle just to check out. Loaded all 7 in Boge cartos, and being able to switch between flavors helped me a lot. I've found that I prefer 70pg/30vg to the 80/20 which is all bluemist offered where I got the sample pack. But that's all subjective. No matter what, every analog you don't smoke is all for the good, so when you get your stuff, just keep at it, and take advantage of all the support there is here!

Thanks you all for the introduction. Sailorman hit right on the head, it's the atomizer's that are scaring me. Need a good video with step by step directions on how to clean. I don't mind a little tinkering but I have 2 kids and wife so time is not on my side.
So with the stardust they hook right up to ego c battery correct?

I don't use any of the clearomizers (like Stardusts) but yes they just screw on your battery. I use only cartos, mostly Boge LRs and some Ressurectors and I'm very happy for now. I have really never used the atomizers that came with my eGo as I prefer the convenience and longevity of good cartos. I like the XL versions as they hold much more juice which means topping off less often...

Hi Jeremyv, congrats and welcome to ECF. I bought an eGo-C for a convert just last week BUT it came with Vision Stardusts and performs flawlessly. I would've recommended a Kgo but he wanted the smaller pen style. It's a solid performer and if the present delivery system doesn't work you can always add the clearomizers or cartos at a very low cost.
Good Luck.
"Most" issues with new vapers is usually because of the delivery system and not the PV itself.
Good Luck.

WTG Jeremy! congrats to you on letting the analogs go and your choice to vape! I'm a 45 day old vaper and I love it. I haven't had an analog since April 11th...and can honestly say I will never touch another one again. I have an Ego-T and I use the Vision/Stardust atty's and I love it. I started on the Mistic e-cig (from Wal-Mart) and then graduated to the Ego-T. I may one day grow up and have a Provari or a Lavatube or some other mod with variable voltage but for right now, I'm completely satisfied with what I'm using (just like Cherryblossom said). You will find your signature juice and get comfy with vaping. There are some really wonderful, helpful people here. ECF has been a God send for me on my journey so far. The vaping community is like family and the guidance that the Veterans provide is priceless. Congrats again and Let's take a toke! :headbang:
