hey all, I’ve got another problem! so as my first post I had the nicotine problem being too hard of a hit, well now I can’t feel it. I feel like it’s befause after I put 6mg and ran out and tried to put 12mg of a different juice in my prince tank I don’t get the feeling anymore, but I could still taste barely any of the other juice vs the original clear liquid I usually smoke, should I just get a new tank with brand new coils? I usually feel the nic hit me within like 5-10 hits and it feels greeaaaatt

The "hit" will stop coming as you get use to an amount of nicotine. Doesn't matter in the long run what that amount is, until you stay away from nicotine for a while.

If you keep raising the amount of nicotine, you will stop feeling the "hit" until you overdose on it, and you really don't want to feel that!

Agree with the above. After several years of MTL vaping high nic (24mg), I switched to DTL devices, and was quite good at 3mg nic. Vaped 3mg for several years this way and was quite content.

Recently went on vacation and changed to pods at 30mg nic salts. First day or two, nice nic rush. However, now, I'm trying to go back to DTL vaping and 3mg barely satisfies. I'm vaping 6mg DTL now, and will work my way back to 3mg over a few weeks. I was fine at 3mg for years before, no reason to consume 2-3x the nic I really need.

In my experience, all you do is increase your tolerance by upping the nic like that. Eventually, I don't get squat out of the higher levels either after the 'morning rush'. Might as well just stick with lower levels that work for me. No point in trying to chase a nic buzz for me.

Higher nic levels do good for me when I only vape them when I need them. If I'm going to chain vape all day, I just jack up my tolerance and end up consuming a very large amount of nicotine for no reason.

Take it from a guy who started out at 48mg...

I am a chain vaper and I use 3mg now.
Every once in a while, I will boost it to 5 or 6mg. I no longer get a buzz.. but the 5 or 6 mg boost can start to get me to the OD level real quick.

I would like to try pods but I’d want something better than Juuls. Something that produces more than juuls so I feel it faster, because I’ve been vaping 6mg for like 2 months and I don’t really chain vape it’s maybe like 1-3 times a day. and I tried to use 12 but for some reason it doesn’t produce the cloud as it does with 6mg but the ratio on the 6mg is 70/30 while the 12 is 75/25 and I also have one for 12 that’s 70/30, but then again I don’t know if it’s the juice or just the fact I’m using a sub ohm and it doesn’t go together too well from what I heard

Yeah I get you, when I started out I used 24mg and I got used to it and went lower and felt it but then I stopped
So it’s just lowering and higherig the nic level to start feeling the buzz again? Because man that buzz puts me in such a good mood haha

Switch to nic salts juices. Have you tried mesh coils yet?

Try the mesh drop in coils and try a juice with salts, you'll find the hit your looking for but you will lose th with salts. If you vape as little as you say a rda wouldn't be much work, would only need to wick once every week or two.
If you don’t mind me asking what are juices with salts? Never seen or heard of those

Nicotine salts (they're a less harsh form of nicotine than freebase and with less throat hit). I'm not quite clear on the directions here, to the OP, but if you use nic salts you CAN often go higher, although ideally you don't want to wind op overdosing and Yes, your brain adjusts to nicotine in your vape just like it did when you were smoking. Any smoker's "buzz" would more likely to be from carbon monoxide than anything else, not the nic.

It is true that your tolerance can rise (and fall) rather fast, most vapers (surely not all I guess) are going for a nice even stream of nicotine that is neither too much, nor too little. If you do want that "buzz" you'd have to raise or lower your juice, but I could also see that getting somewhat tedious as well, and hard to manage.

You can MIX juices in your device, but depending on strength, whether the flavor matches the flavor already there and your PG/VG level you may wind up with something harsh, that burns you coil, that is not the correct viscosity for your device, that tastes horrible, that is too high or too low for you making it hard to vape and etc.

Best of luck,

Anna
