I want to place an order for a Reo. I need to place an order and get a new mod ASAP. Unfortunately they have not been restocking many of the mods. The way I see it for the price I'm paying on one of these devices I'm not going to get one that doesn't look nice. I may just spend a couple more bucks and get a ........provari...........no worries though. If I do I promise I won't turn into one of them.

Dude, shoot Redeyedancer a PM or email and ask him if he can make you what you want, sometimes he just doesn't have time to update the site. FWIW I just sold my Provari to fund a new Reo.... soooooooooooooo
I PM'd him a a bit ago, he said he'll be adding more shortly. But I need a new one pretty soon. I only have one mod and it's on the fritz.

If I wanted a certain color Reo and it wasn't in stock, I would contact Rob and see if he could make it happen.

Send Rob a PM and ask him to send you an invoice for something exactly. Then he knows it is a sale and building that color combo gets a higher priority. I've never waited longer than a week or so from PM, to Rob has it ready to ship.

A larger desk top device, a medium sized pocket friendly device for when being active and the best cigalike I can find for hands free usage but I keep thinking I want a REO too.

Ok I was at this point before the LP version came out, and I had to have one. I wanted a copper vein, pm'd rob, and he says, I have a silver vein, ready to go. Boom, in my mailbox, across the country in two days. Sooooo nice, and blows mad clouds with the other rba's I have. I will never regret it, or sell it, but I will eventually get the copper vein I had my eye on. A bird in the hand, squonking away happily and all that!
I am now thinking about the copper vein reo...it seems like the bright colors (Tropical Green, Metallic Blue, Red, Purple, etc.) would show skuffs and marks from drops a lot more. Bottom line is...I really want a Reo but I don't want to get buyers remorse getting the wrong one.
There really isn't a 'wrong one' imo....and, truth be told, your first one likely won't be your last (they tend to multiply!).

I could see that haha...here's a list of colors I'm looking at. What do you think? The main reason I'm leaning towards a brighter color is it would stick out a little more when in my car or backpack.

Other option would be to get a black wrinkle, & a few bright coloured doors, then you could change it up, to whatever you wanted

Well, get all three? LOL If it was me, I like purple - but I'm female, so I may be biased. Feeder's idea of changing up the doors on a black wrinkle is a good one too!
It appears that you have covered all the bases in researching the Reo's; asking questions and reading the threads. I understand a device in this price range is no small decision. I am all about flavor, flavor, flavor. I have a DNA20 and two Provari's and two Reo's sitting in front of me only two get used. I can honestly tell you no matter what atty you put on the tube mods; they absolutely can not compare with the flavor generated by the Reo with a RM2, a Hornet, an Igo-s or cyclone or any other RBA you put on the Reo. I'll keep the Provari's (maybe) for sentimental reasons. But the only other mods in my future are more Reo's. Been at this vaping thing a long time, tried most everything, nothing like a Reo.

Ditto. You can buy extra doors in whatever color.
Just an FYI, those metalic "reds/purples" can look like "Dorothy's slippers" from what I've read. They're sparkly.
