It really does take a while for your tastebuds to come back, and to also just get used to the taste of PG/VG. I thought for a very long time that I wouldn't like any juice I tried, high-end or not. Eventually I did, and now I have a wide variety of vendors that I like. I think your eventually get accustomed to how the base tastes, then from there the flavors really start to come out.

Welcome John!

Your tastes are going to fluctuate pretty wildly for a bit as your tastebuds come back to life. I went through a "dull flavor" phase (including some vaper's tongue.) Lately, though, I've been rebuilding my own coils and wicking with cotton. Don't know if it's that, or if my tastebuds are finally settling down. I'm tasting my juices and having an absolute BLAST rifling through all kinds of flavors. Some I do like better than others, but it's an evolution.

CravinVapes e-cigs & e-liquids - CravinVapes has 6ml bottles of juices for just a few bucks each. They're my local B&M (and right around the corner from my house!!!) I've not tried many of the other places recommended, but I see a lot of great comments from a large number of people about some of these sites.

Good Luck - enjoy the hunt - you'll eventually find some things that will work for you :)

I had the same problem when I first started not long ago. Most juice I have tried has a strong perfume to it. You really do need to leave them in the draw for a couple of weeks. I thought steeping was for tea only and that all these nice folks on this forum must be crazy. I was wrong. To speed up the process I dump the juice into a small dish a few hours just so the juice can breathe off some of that perfume taste.
Then I put it back in the bottle and leave it for a week. You would be amazed at the difference it makes.

Hi John. One of the toughest things for me personally was finding a liquid that I enjoyed. I agree with you that it could be an expensive experiment....

I personally only ordered small bottles of test liquid back when I started my journey..... once i found one that I could get accustomed to I would purchase a larger size.... now with some of the sample memberships (like zample box) there are organized outfits that learn what you do and do not enjoy....

If you keep looking you will find those few gotta have it flavors. Keep the faith. Good Luck. Happy Vaping

If you like tobacco flavors, Halo is one of the best companies. My favorite is Tribecca. Torque 56 is good too but strong. One other I have grown to like is Bobas Bounty from alien vision. The most important thing I have learned is to give your juices time and don't throw them away. Some juices need to steep for 2 to 4 weeks.
Use bottom coil tanks with a variable voltage Mod they taste better and you can tweak it to your liking.
Good luck and Vape On.

I have been vaping for years and I still don't have an ADV (all day vape). Flavors are subjective so I won't begin to tell you what to try just to keep at it. Everyone else has covered things pretty well. Check I'm to samples from different places, cheap and expensive, try various pg/vg ratios, watch juice reviews on YouTube (that's helped me a lot lately). It's very trial and error. I will say I used to be candy and fruit only and now I am really enjoying different things. Also steeping is a thing, and it is real. Most creamy flavors or dessert flavors for me taste horrible (enough to gag) when I first get them but after letting them breathe for a couple hours then steep for a week+ and I love them. I am now giving some of the juice subscriptions a try just to get the exposure to new things. Good luck on your hunt, I am there with you. In fact I may just start a channel and thread about the quest for juice.

Thanks for the tip on Nicoticket -- this is the second or third recommendation I've gotten for that particular vendor, and combined with their quite reasonable pricing (from my highly limited experience :D), I may roll the dice with one or two of their flavors.

Appreciated!

You cannot go wrong with CLS or Creme Brûlée from NICOTICKET. Service is outstanding. Just saying!!!

Try something from mount baker vapor with a couple extra shots of flavor. I like the butterscotch with 3 shots. Also, if you like tobacco flavors, there is a mixer here in the Raleigh area called Sinister....they have a flavor called Mirano that is a sweet cigar with bakery undertones. It's a very strong in your face cigar taste with a Big throat hit.

I'm just going to throw a suggestion out to you,

After vaping on higher ohms coils for over a month (2.1's and up) I found my flavors have not been up to par, I've been learning to build coils and just today I found my happy place with my ohms. I've built 2 1.9ohms coils and tried them both on my mvp and a regular ego battery and there is a definite taste change.

I'm still rather new at vaping and I'm not sure if the lower ohms coils is why I am getting a better flavor, (I'm sure someone will confirm if it is or not :) )

But try replacing the coil on your vivi nova to a lower ohms. Maybe you'll have a different experience like I have :) I was actually getting frustrated and almost gave up on vaping and going back  not some place I want to go to

Hi, Bunny.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can adequately answer that question. The two that I have now are described as "nutty, caramel tobacco flavor", and although my person description wouldn't quite match up to theirs, it's decent, although mild in taste. The other is simply a mango flavor, again on the mild side, but okay. Although the owner couldn't provide PG/VG ratios, it was stated that they were "mostly" PG, if that makes any difference.

I went down to the same shop, taste tested other flavors, and didn't get a thing. Also hit the local AltSmoke and tried a number of juices there -- the only one that I semi-liked was the NicQuid Blueberry (or Blueberry Tart).

Based on that, I think I'm more preferential to fruit flavors.

On an aside, after trying a few juices at the local shops, well, I don't think I'm going to do that again. My fingers were getting all sticky from what I can only imagine is old juice on the outside of the juice tester clearomizers there. Bleh - that alone could have had a negative effect on my dislike of many of the juices. I know I'm a slight germaphobe, but it wasn't the best of experiences. I like to keep things clean, wiping down my own clearomizers and batteries after a refill and when putting them to bed at night. ;p

Thank you!

if you let us know what your preferences are maybe we can give you some good leads to better juices :)
are you into tobaccos, fruits, creamies, etc???
