I don't have questions to ask, or relevant info to add to anything here. I read the rules, which say no spamming useless posts, etc. So, I'm kind of at a loss.

Yeah, yeah, I could just be patient and wait for something (or 5 somethings) to scream "HEY! Reply to me!"

But I'm not patient, at all. I mean seriously, I'm 23 and have an almost 5 year old, does that scream patient or logical to anyone?

So, since I'm not sure what I can do, I'm hoping generic intro threads aren't unwelcome or disallowed? Because I'm doing one.

Hi, I'm kittyn, and as mentioned, I'm 23, and have a little. Well, two, actually, the almost 5 year old and a 6 month old. I have a kit on its way to me at the moment. If my USPS senses are right, should be here later today/tomorrow (I have not slept yet, so I still say anything happening later/after my hoped for nap is tomorrow). In school (IT-Networks design), married, gamer, constantly fiddling with stuff and can't ever be completely still. Which is probably why I smoke to start with. It's something to do, and semi-distracting. I don't sleep (obviously). Well, don't sleep much. Between one bratling getting up no later than 10, and one who tries to stay up until 6, this whole sleep thing is starting to seem like unicorns and the fountain of youth combined.

Anyway, I'm shutting up now, because I'll make this into (more of) a ramble if I don't.

Hey Kittyn! I hope you get your kit today and I hope it helps you! I can definitely understand what you are saying....Married, 3 kids, gamer, and computer programmer.

With our first child, she would stay up until 2-3AM, then our doctor set us straight. He had said to put her to bed at the same time every night. For the first 2 weeks she'll scream for hours. It will seem like she is going to hurt herself from all the screaming, or that it will never end, but she won't hurt herself and it will stop. Sure enough, he was right. It took about 2 weeks, but putting her to bed at the same time. Yes she would scream her head off for a couple hours plus, but after that she saw it was not going to change so she started going to bed without any fuss. Then when we had our 2nd and 3rd children, from the start, we put them to bed on time, and never had an issue. The only thing is, you have to be consistent, otherwise you have to start over again. Hopefully that will help you sleep too!

Good luck!

Don't worry. The moment I was born, I knew I had nothing to say. I'm fifty now, and I've never said anything interesting. I'm trying to keep that up for the rest of my life. My epithaph will read: "He really didn't have anything to say. Was a bit boring too." And yet I still managed to get a lot of posts here on ECF. With no responses of course. But you did get some, so you're already better than me.

Welcome to ECF!!!

I hope you find vaping to be everything you need!

Feel free to check out my blog (link in signature) for some good newbie info. There are also several other wonderful sources of information you can search, such as the blogs on the forum, Youtube, etc. In the PV world, research is your friend, especially before you "pull the trigger" on a purchase.

What first got me interested in vaping is the little people. I absolutely refuse to smoke around them, so I'm sick of watching them through glass (back porch doors). Just a 'demmit, I should be in there' sort of self irritation. So, I'm hoping to at least find a less likely to affect my kids habit.

Oh, and add in that I can't keep up with a little dude.

On the how, I have seen some variety or another of e-cig pop up every so often in my local tobacco stores. Never consistantly, never long enough for someone to actually get familiar with it enough to be able to answer my questions, so I have made countless mental notes 'I need to google those things and see what they're all about.'

Never rememebered, til a while back there was a commercial on Tv for.. Umm, I honestly don't remember which of the 'free trial' things. I know that I wouldn't order that one, but I had my laptop open and my web browser up, so I went to their website and then Google. And I have spent the past while stalking this forum and finally went "Screw it, I can take half my smoke money for the next two weeks and order a 510 kit and some juice, what's the worst that'll happen? I'll be cranky on less than a pack a day or I roll for a few weeks if it comes to it."

Yeowch I'm wordy, sorry about that. Mid essay writing, so I'll blame classes for it :)

I'm just trying to post enough that they won't call me a "newbie" anymore :D

That normally takes a while, at least on any forum I've ever seen :D

On subject, I am good at guesstimating USPS when they dont update tracking/conformation, and my mail carrier is an idiot. I live in apartments with the stacked locking mailboxes. Ya know, like 20 to a box, each with a door that locks? Has a lip around the inside edge on the front where I retrieve my mail. Yeah, mail person shoved the small flat rate box with my stuff in there. I just had to do xacto surgery carring a baby to get my package out, because I am neither patient or observant enough to catch the carrier tomorrow and have them pull it from their larger back opening for me. Like 3rd time this month that I've had to get inventive with ways to get small packages or over sized envelopes out w/o ruining the contents.

So, batt on charge, and I have my stuff. w00t!
