Notice to appear for interview by HSA.

Hey guys,

Got a visit from a HSA agent just now and she gave me a letter to appear before the IO from the Singapore tobacco Regulation Branch. They want me to bring a print out of my order made and any proof of payment. Anyone has any experience with this before ? I'm supposed to go down on thursday, any help would be appreciated! thanks!

Bit weird they are asking you to bring the proof no?
Like asking a murderer if he please can bring the murder weapon to trial.
(jus making a comparisson, not stating you are a murderer)
I would not and leave gathering proof to them but I have no experience in such matters so I hope somebody here can advice you properly.
Anyhow, I would go seek legal advice before presenting them any evidence of what you did.

Hi, thanks will try to bump up to 5 replies soon. Yeah, I think they're gathering evidence against a local vendor as they did mention that they're investigating xxxxxx.com for buying and selling. But I don't even have records anymore. I purchased the items last year.

Went for the "interview" yesterday, just a mere fifteen minute chat with the investigating officer. And yeah, same as the other case mentioned in the SG forum, they're planning to prosecute the vendor and just need more evidence that he sold the ecigarettes here. Well, that was close!

I had purchased online through a local site, currently the letter stated they are investigating into an offence against the owner for selling, therefore they're planning to prosecute the vendor and just need more evidence that he sold the ecigarettes here. Just like Vyrus said.
So i needed to know how he got through..sigh...

cos it a online purchase... and all data will be kept... if vendor been raid... think they will be able to retrive out all the data... for those who purchase from the vendor...
