Nova rebuild

Just completed my first rebuild..nova with ss mesh and kanthal wire. I think everything has gone ok! No hotspots and showing 2ohm resistance. At this stage is it ok to bang it back in the tank and onto my mod? Do I need to check resistance at any other point? Or any other checks before vaping?
Maybe it was beginners luck but I just followed YouTube video walk through and it seemed pretty straightforward!

Sounds like you should be good to go. Fill her up. You could possibly drip a few drops and test the flavor first.

Sounds like its good to go to me. Ive had a lot of "beginners luck" with mine. I havent had any major issues yet with rebuilding mine. Cotton or SS mesh

Nice one, thanks guys. Just seemed too straightforward. Just put in tank. Seems ok but slightly burnt taste.. Will this go? Have I not done something correctly?

One rebuild video points out that Kanthal is an industrial wire, we need to run a match over it then wipe it off, 'cause it's not food-grade. I've found that makes a difference in taste. Dunno if mesh has the same issue. Should I google you-tube and mesh and vivi nova? I haven't seen the ss rebuild video, only the cheesecloth ones. I've got mesh but haven't used it yet.

Give the wick about 1 tank ful to season.
