Hello,

I recentlt rebuild 2 vivi novas using ss mesh (it is 400 316) and kanthal wire awg 32.

One is working great with lots of flavor and vapor, the other one i mostly get dry hits and very little flavour.

I built both at the same time using the same procedure, i have checked then both and both have almost de same resistance (2.1 and 2.3) yet one refuses to work properly :(

Any ideas on what could be causing this will be appreciated

In case that matters the good one has legend juice from HHV and the bad one has caramel capuchino from backwood brews

Thanks

What are you using it on? If the 2.3 isn't working, may be not enough voltage?

Hi, thanks for your response, I have an ego-t battery (3.7volts) and an ego variable (3.2, 3.7 and 4.2).

I just tried both on 4.2 volts and still sane pbm.

Should i try to get something with higher voltage? Can low voltagw create dey hits?

is the ss mesh kinked at all?

Hi, u hit it right on, I had a kink on the wick, couldn't fix that one but did a new one making sure there were no kinks and it works great, thanks.

For others that may be having the same issue, I found that making the wick thiner (by using less ss mesh) seems to help avoid kinks
