Now I know

So I found a vapeshop close to hom (30mi), decided to stop by on my way home just to check it out. After talking to the guy, I assumed it was his store. He was so patient and took his time showing me everything and how everything worked answered all my questions. I ended up buying a joyetech Ego T 1000mah, with the passthough option and a couple stardust clearomizers and a T3. So as the thread title states, now I know what vapeing is. The little 808 stick batteries and cartos I had wasn't really enough to keep from the real things also, but after puffing this a few times I have found my answer to quiting real cigs. So anyone else in Middle Tn, should check out Saffire vapes - I went to the one in Franklin(cool Springs), but there is also another one in Murfresboro. They have alot of flavors (40+), and will let you try them before you buy, which I really liked since I have gotten some funky flavors in cartos before.

I am now a satisfied vaper - Dragonfruit Splash, and Chocolate Marshmellow are awesome. I can't wait to get some more liquid.

I did notice the stardust clearomizer seems to work alot better than the T3 - I would have thought with the bottom coil, it would produce alot more vapor?

I'm so happy you found something that satisfies you. Yea, the cig alike batts usually don't seem to really scratch that itch a heavy smoker needs to get off cigs. Most do well with ego type batts. And vaping is so exciting at first because there are so many flavors and cartos/clearos to try. Maybe eventually check out the mini Vivi nova. I love Vivi Novas and the mini size of them are nice on an ego batt.

Yes, agree on stardust feel batter than the T3 (I have MT3, but according to people, they are the same). I would suggest you to search into recoil/rewick. When you recoil/rewick it to the point you like it the best, the T3 will make you smile and you will eave the stardust untouched. I like the cotton ball wick.

Not to be hyper critical, but that's a matter of personal preference. Technique involved is differnt too. The Stardust can hit hard and fast where the T3 requires a more steady light pull. That's my experience at least :)

Glad to hear you have a good shop somewhat close. Your preference of the Stardust just goes to show we have different preferences, I tried to like them, but the draw was terrible and they leaked. But I love my Kangers, have the MT3, T2, and Protank. What works for one doesn't always work for another. In the end, whatever keeps you from lighting up is the best choice for you.

Some time down the road try a Twist or Spinner, they open up a whole new world. Best to you.

Thanks everyone,

I haven't given up on the T3 yet, I may try covering one of the holes as I seen in another thread. Feels very airy to me, bad thing is I filled it up with a juice I thought would be my fav - taste way different than it did at the store. Not sure if it is because the store sample was in the other clearo. I don't want to waste it, so I will finish it off and try the rewicking.

I have noticed a tiny bit of liquid on my battery post, is this normal? I filled all them very carefully, but still find a small bit when I remove the clearos.

A little moisture on the battery isn't uncommon. Might be you just want to change to a slower, and maybe longer, draw. Too forceful a draw (especially short, sharp ones) can overload the wick with juice, that then can drain down the air tube.

By all means plug one of the T3 holes if you want a stiffer draw. Or maybe 2.

I use T3s (yes, MT3 is the same device, just inside a metal can for looks and strength), Evods, Stardust styles (CE5, etc), Novas, Nanos, cartos and carto tanks. Started by using each for a different flavor, but each has a slightly different experience. As you progress, you might consider trying different delivery devices to find the one that works best for you. Take recommendations as recountings of that person's experience, not as gospel truth! :vapor:

I too found a shop close to home, also about 30mi, but it's practically on my way to work, and stopped in to see what was up. I'd been using a Blu disposable for about 4 or 5 days with no analogs! I bought an eRoll with a couple bottles of liquid and its awesome. I may have been too aggressive with my nicotine choice at 24mg though. I can't get through more than 4 or 5 puffs before I'm done.

I'm not an expert on those but it's possible that in plugging the air holes, you may be producing more suction on the inhale, thus causing flooding and more juice being fed. At least that's just a guess but like I said, I haven't used those in a long time and honestly, I had alot of leaking no matter what I did. But some have had good luck with them and love them.
