Now you have to go to school, vaping is not smoking, a few weeks and u are gonna love this world, but u have to learn how to vape

I'm not too worried about it. I'm a fast learner. I also spent a lot of time scouring through these forums and researching things.

My goal is to stop smoking the moment I start vaping, though I'm not going to beat myself up if I slip.

Just a couple of newbie tips:

  • Since e-cigs don't get smaller, there is no sense of "finishing a vape" Often new users will over vape to the point of dizziness, dry mouth, burned out atomizers (attys) and sore throat. usually the novelty wears off after a few days or weeks and you'll start vaping at a rate that more closely resembles your smoking habits
  • Try flavors and strengths until you find the one that is right for you. For example, "marlboro" tastes different from one maker to the next so just because you were disappointed with one manifestation of your regular brand doesn't mean that is all there is. (many former Marlboro smokers find the "Hilton" more closely resembles real Marlboro cigarettes, to each his own)
  • If you have a question - take a moment to research the threads and search for your answer in previous posts. You will find a wealth of knowledge in the paths of others. The users here are among the best anywhere in bending over backwards to help, but often a question that has been answered many times before will get a short reply the 435th time it's asked. Chances are someone answered your question in much more detail somewhere in the archives.
  • Don't expect your initial purchase to last forever. 'Made in China" doesn't carry the same weight as "German Engineering" and attys and batts wera out and go TU from time to time. This will most likely happen when your inlaws are visiting and everyone is praising you for "quitting smoking". Dedicated users will find a model they like and buy a few spare attys and batts to sustain them during bad times.
I'm sure this list can go on forever, but those are a few I get calls about daily.

Hope you got a passthru with your order. If not no biggie, I just finnaly ordered 2 for the wife and I after having our 510's for 2 months. The 510's rock. :D

EDIT: all I know about the janty is from what i've heard, It rocks too!!!
I hope you ordered one without the battery in line. I bought a quite expensive one and it only works once in awhile and not as good as the batteries!:p I recieved my Puresmoker passthrough two nights ago and I gotta tell you this thing ROCKS!!:D:hubba: I'm going to cut the battery off my other one, I've heard this will make it work better.:)

Well, the JS is going to be my main vape, so no need for a passthrough. It's built into the device.

I got a PCC for my 510s. I didn't get a passthrough for it yet, but I will later.

I also ordered a DIY kit from Dawn at ecigsmokestore.com. I can't wait to start messing around with different flavors. I can see this becoming a hobby of sorts.

The best advice I can give you is the spending never ends. :) I started vaping on July 16th, I now have 1 Njoy Npro (would love to sell it but no one will buy it lol), BE112, Janty Stick v2, 2 510 kits (shipping tomorrow) and a 901 kit (shipping tomorrow). Oh and close to 1500ml of liquid plus more on the way. So I believe at this point I can weather any supply disruption or a nuclear holocaust lol. I swear I am putting the credit card down....... Wait whose having sale??????
