Hi all,

I've been lurking for quite awhile and figure it was time to jump in. So first, I thank you to everyone that posts here that has made my research and enjoyment of vaping so awesome with all the great information!

I've been vaping since January. Started on a V2 Cigs branded KR 808D-1 PV and haven't smoked since the day I got it. Amazing the difference it makes after just 3 months! Woot!

I'm now on a 808-threaded VGo I picked up from Vapors Heaven (unsolicited plug there... awesome company). Currently I'm trying every e-juice I can afford to get my hands on, seeking that perfect stable of regular vapes. I'm also playing with CE2-style cartos...

I have three different styles now. One isn't really CE2, it's the Vortex bottom coil carto from GotVapes. We'll set that one aside for now. The other two are a CE2 XL Clear and CE2 r4 XL. I really like both styles, though I like the revision 4 a bit better. Problem is, I get a rally nasty burnt taste after the atty heats up. This makes it almost impossible to get a good hit out of them. Happens on both VGo batteries and a generic 808D-1 and the V2.

I read many of the tips for burnt taste here, but haven't had any luck. Thinking of going back to regular cartos at this point, but figure I'd see if anyone else has tried this combo and had any luck?

Thanks,
Capt.

Hmm... that's a good tip. I removed the silicone ring in there and the whole thing improved. After that I got three or four good vapes off it instead of one or two. I wonder if I pushed the ring down on these initially too hard and pinched off the wick and now the atty is getting dry. Tipping it upside down for a second or two, for example, also seems to help for a couple of vapes.

Thank you, I hadn't considered that!

Thanks,
Cris
