First, thanks to everyone who answered my first thread a couple days ago and gave me advice and encouragement.
I finally got a chance to drive over to the Cignot store today and bought an EGo C starter kit, and I opted (for a few extra bucks) for the Twist batteries (650 maH) and low resistance atomizer heads.
I also got an extra USB pass-through battery. & of course I got some e-liquid in tobacco and coffee and black licorice flavors
.
Dennis at the shop was very helpful and set up a PV for me , and then I was so pleased with myself that tonight I managed to set up another one with the pass-through battery.

As I mentioned on the other thread, I have been smoking for like 34-35 years, most of the time a pack a day. I had tried Green Smoke and I did think several of their flavors were pretty decent, yet I found it lacking in TH. Anyway I definitely notice an improvement. So I have been happily vaping.

& I've just placed an order with Heathers Heavenly Vapes too! & while I was at it , I got a few cartomizers to see how that compares to the tank. And I got some drip tips.
LOL. Vaping noob gone wild.

Hurray for you! I started with Green Smoke too, and while after taking a couple of drags I knew I could quit smoking using e-cigs, they made a big mistake. I smoked menthol and ordered it, but they sent me a regular tobacco flavor instead. I didn't have anything else, so I used them. For some reason I thought it tasted a little like coconut, so I started googling to see of there was a coconut flavor out there somewhere and discovered vaping. Ha, ha, ha, ha! If they had just sent me the menthol, I would have been happy, but when I discovered what other options there were it was bye Green Smokes - hello eGo. Luckily, I was able to return the GS kit. They blew it.

woohoo!
more & more making the switch every day...
the twist is a great starter kit.. and i love having the passthrough in addition to the twist, too..! great for here at work.

congrats on kicking the stinkies! don't go too crazy with the new purchases... it is really easy to go overboard...
(says me, as i dig through a bag of 20+ different flavors of e-juice and still always manage to go right back to my Halo Midnight Apple anyways....)

Thanks everyone for all your support & well wishes! :)

Yeah, I did kinda spend quite a bit for the initial outlay. But I figured I might as well get going right. And really, everything I spent yesterday on vaping was less than I normally would spend on a month's worth of analogs.

I can definitely see how I really could go nuts ordering e-juices if I don't keep myself reined in. I have a covetous eye on Backwoods Brew, too. I had already been looking at that site and planning to order a few things to try, when someone on here recommended Heather's Heavenly Vapes and I also read a lot of praise for their naturally extracted tobacco e-juices on an old thread here, so I checked out their website and ordered a sample pack of five 3 ml bottles and a couple 6 ml bottles (not only tobacco ones -- I also tried other kinds of flavors)
..... But I'm very tempted to just go ahead and order a few of the things I already had intended to get from BWB as well -- and THEN put a moratorium ( I promise ! I swear!) on more e juice purchases for a month or so while I try out all those lovely vapes.
Hey, how long does e-juice stay good? Should I keep it refrigerated?

I admit that I have had a couple analogs since I got this stuff 24 hours ago, so I haven't 100% made the switch . But normally in that amount of time I would have smoked 20 if not more. For me that is pretty astounding.
