Finally got the new Hornet BF built for the Mini OG. Put a twisted 30g 1.2 ohm KGD build in it for starters to compare it closer to the carto. I think the twisted 30g is the biggest twisted wire it's post holes are going to take. With it's upgrade the next build will be lower and with RxW. SS'ing to get past the small Hornet air intake for my long lung hits (same as with the carto), as expected the Hornet is a HUGE improvement over the carto. So I can see the OG alternating with my Woodvill 14500's on my wee hours walks from now on.

I'm generally not a fan of the 14500 batts because of my very long lung hits (says the man with 2 Woodil's, a GP Piccolo and now the Mini OG that uses them). But this one is becoming a fast favorite and in the least will take one of the Woodvil's off the list (the Picc/Spheroid are long retired). Have been using it all night in rotation with a couple of 18650 Woodvil's, and only take it out of the holster to squonk when it needs it... not as often as I thought it would need it. The holster is great, fits it like a glove and will do an excellent job of protecting it/never damage its finish. Even the higher build has been rocking Alboraya pretty well all night. It needs sub ohm to really shine though, so the next build will be lower. The Hornet will also need the air intake opened up some to improve flavor lost by SS'ing... it is very tiny. I normally don't do MTL but tried it, and its too small for even that IMO.

Spydro you are using the new 9A capable AW cells right?

Only have 2 of the 9.75A bought from RTD with some new 20A 18650's sometime back. Most of mine are the old 600mAh 4A I used in the Piccolo when it was still being used, and I use them in the Woodvil's. I'm not using the 4A in the Mini OG though, so need to order more from RTD.
