This is my first Mini OG. It is drop dead gorgeous, in pristine condition and the most colorful mod I've ever owned. My favorite color, the shades of blue change from every angle and in every different light from pale to dark and deep that are hard to capture in pictures. It's circa 2011 and recently went to the spa for a complete rebuild/upgrade. And it came with lots of extras, including a repuprosed belt holster and matching drip tip... even a matching blue battery.

This will be my first time using cartos on a Reo (it came with 2 new shorties). I will have to find more shorty cartos or atomizers, and see if I can find a very small rba that'll fit in it.

It will be my third 14500 Reo joining the 2 Woodvil 14500's, and is my 12th Reo.

Thanks again to the nice lady it came from for letting it come live with me, and for taking such good care of it . I will do the same.

Gorgeous! I was fighting myself to resist this beauty. You saved me (and my wallet) from myself. I'm so happy this went to someone who appreciates it so much.

I've just received a Black Anodized with a Blue door. Yours looks good Spydro you have good taste in mods. Thanks for the tip Karen the Hornet looks good on there.
Please, post pics! Preferably several, from different angles! I was thinking of getting a LP Black Wrinkle with a Blue Door and would love to get a better idea of what it would look like.

My lady has a milled RM2 on her mini and I just put a thick black oring on the base of the RM2 to fill the gap and looks much better and eased the OCD in her. :)
Great idea!

Looks like Spydro is trying to catchup up to Nerak!
Spydro is to metal REOs = Karen is to Woodvils! :)

I guess that's just the beauty and magic of the Reo Grand products that Robert offers. Most Business's struggle to get the "Return Customer". Robert has NO PROBLEM at all with Return Customers. He makes such a fine, and indestructible product. I just wish I could catch up to Spyd's and Karen. :)

I had a shot at it before privately, but seller was not ready to let go yet. Glad to catch it before somebody else did.

Yes Raynman, please post pictures of yours.

Looks great Spyd!!! This is what... #10? Man, I gotta get things together, and buy more Reo Grands... before they all end up in Spyd's hands out in Sin City. :D

It's #12. Had 9 within 2 months, so I've slowed down the last 4-5... been picking and choosing them.

+1 Rob has created the perfect mods. Too bad it took me so long to buy that first one.

Not trying to compete with anybody, least of all Karen. Imagine a lot of folks have more Reos, I'm still just a newcomer to them. I do have 5 Woodvil's, plan to have more.

That Janty holster went with a far and long gone mod called the janty stick, that was my original "mod" back in 2009, when there was pretty much nothing but cigalikes. That particular holster was owned originally by a reo-naut, then passed down to another reonaut and now you have it. The second reonaut had the wherewithal to actually try putting a mini in it. I never thought of it.

All things come around and go around. Very nice mod you have there and I hope it makes you as happy as the two little 14500's I have make me :)

Thanks for all the comments... it is a really great one. :rickroll:

I'm glad this went to somebody who loves it. !!!!!!

Anyone who has gotten a reo from me thru ECF knows I send out nice stuff and I always have everything re-built before I put up for sale.
The reason I do that is to uphold the magic that Robert created, because IMHO, the worst thing is to receive a REO that is not working properly and then a first time user might be disappointed and not think REOs are the greatest mod ever invented. :)

I know because I bought my very first REO in the classies back in 2012, and I was like "what? This is what everyone is talking about?" Well, that is because it was not working properly.......it needed a complete overhaul.....and thankfully I sent it to Robert and it came back and was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be, everything I thought it would be, and everything it should be.

I am slowly giving up vaping so little by little stuff is leaving my house. ;)

BTW, I don't think you can beat the early annodizing........even in the photos spydro posted, does NOT do justice to the shimmery color, and how it changes depending on the light.

Anyway, I'm thrilled that somebody who loves the REOs will enjoy it. I'm still a REO fan even though I have very little vape gear anymore. I have to say that, after owning HUNDREDS of vaping items, the REO (every model) stands out in my entire vaping journey as *THE ONE*I don't think I would have made it to almost 3 years off cigs if it hadn't been for Robert's creatiion.

So really, thank you Robert!

I know! How cool is that, I got the jaunty holster from you.....and I had it for about a week before I *realized* it would fit the reo mini perfectly........it's really neat how things move around in the REO UNIVERSE, isn't it?

I am on a book swap, and I've received some truly AMAZING books, like an entire collection of gorgeous books on all the Foundation Mares (the ones from whom all the greatest thoroughbreds have come from in history). Well, those books belonged to a gal whose Dad was a pedigree researcher, that was his hobby, and it is my hobby, too......so she was so happy and I was so HONORED that I could honor her deceased dad by loving the books.

I got another lot of wonderful westerns, all the classics, from a similar situation, and the sender wrote to me about his uncle who had the books, had collected them, etc. and it is so absolutely NEAT to own things that mean something to you, but that ALSO MEANT SOMETHING TO SOMEBODY ELSE. ;)

I guess you have to be a book lover to understand that, but the same sort of thing happens with REOs in this community.

Stupid question, how do Reo's and/or other bottom feeders work?

Badger
Bottom feeder has everything *on board*......your juice is in a bottle with a feed tube coming out of that to the 510 connector. Battery on other side of bottle, firing pin makes contact w/that battery when you press the on/off button.

You apply gentle squeeze (squonk) to bottle, which pushes juice up and into your atty (or carto if using one) and vape away.

Simple concept.

Hi Spydro, Wow, nice find ..
I think I would like the anodized blue a lot better than the metallic one. Blue is one of my favorite colors.

I don't know if you have tried the carto yet, but let me know what you think.
I tried one, and I didn't like it at all. It totally ruined the flavor of one of my favorite juices .. but that's just me
In any case, if you like it, I have a few I bought from Rob that I will send you, with NO regrets at all
Just PM me if that day comes.
Congrat's on your new baby ...

Every time I see this thread title in my list, I think, "I wonder if one day I'll find a REO in MY mailbox?"

They are always available from Rob new and in the classifieds used, so you can arrange to "find one in YOUR mailbox" like I have many times if you really want to. ;)

Hi G,

Thanks for the generous offer on the cartos. I may pick them up from you as backups for the Mini OG... but would reimburse you for their cost/shipping if I did. I'll let you know...

I am using the Mini OG off and on occasionally with a new shorty carto that came with it. Its OK, better than not being able to try it out at all. But cartos are not my thing... long learned with previous gear. Both because of the muted flavor, and because I have been doing my own builds for almost as long as I have been vaping (almost 2 years). So a new authentic BF Hornet is on the way for the Mini OG and due here Friday (which means I'll pick it up in the wee hours that night). I will build it higher ohm for a favorite joose that likes higher builds... that will be easier on the OG, help the 14500 batts with my lung hits, and hopefully it will make the little Reo the best it can be for my use.

Great description. Functionally you can think of it as dripping from the bottom. You get all the performance benefits of dripping without any of the hassle.
