I am tickled you did not give me a run for my money :) but my bank account is not so tickled
Will the VV Woodvil help me check my ohms. I am not sure how that all works and I have been trying to get meter but they are out several places. I build coils very carefully per your help thru PM and SuperX's thread. So far so good, no issues
Thanks again for not giving me a run for the $$ :)

Big congrats to you! I know how much you've been wanting one.

The VV Woody does not have a display, so no you won't be able to use it as a meter.

(And since we're on the subject of wants... If anyone knows of an original Woodvil mini that needs a good home.. that's my personal white whale... :2cool: )

That seller, Quigsworth, is a Reonaut, I think. He's been over here some.....he just doesn't hang with us. But back when I was thinking about rebuildables, I read everything he had to say in a thread about which wicking material is the best....and he's the reason I'm using (and pushing) cotton. I think he was one of the first ones to use cotton.....I remember him talking a lot about cotton cheesecloth...... Anyway, when I saw it was him selling it, it made me want it more. I knew it was coming from "knowledgeable" hands and that it had probably been taken care of.
