NPR asking for comments on electronic cigarettes

Letters: Listeners Sound Off On E-Cigarettes' Pros And Cons : NPR

NPR did a piece on electronic cigarettes a few days ago which you can find here. They appear to be interested in listener comments so tell them what you think.

I've had enough interaction with NPR to get the feeling that they are a bit dismissive of points of view that counter their narrative. They're not as objective as they promote themselves to be but prolly better than most out there.

I ended the email with this "The real story can be found by asking why the research that exists is being minimized or dismissed, why non-profit health organizations are so opposed, and why so much disinformation is being promulgated. Please do a follow up story that looks at the funding for those who are against tobacco harm reduction and why the research that exists is being dismissed or misrepresented." and directed them to CASAA for references...

Well, heck, neither am i...but the optimist in me hopes that someone gets interested enough to look behind the curtain...the cynic in me thinks it'll never happen.

Right on!!! I hope they do research, investigate, put a stop to organized crime in the field of medicine as we know it.
