I had many a conversation with family and friends about how I should have quit back then when that happened. I told them to read through the information fully before coming to me. I told them that I have always gone to reputable stores (brick and mortar and On-Line) and that it appeared to be folks getting juice from folks on the street. But they all just used it as fodder to tell me I should quit.

Sure when you read up on what makes VG and PG it doesn't sound good, but neither did the cottage cheese I ate as a child when I was told it could have plaster of paris in it to help it clump up. No one told me to stop eating cottage cheese. :)

I think this is similar to the Fentanyl issue. Too many bad folks using/distributing it improperly messes it up for those that needed it. Everyone gets on the band wagon against it. Don't get me wrong I don't have an issue with Fentanyl going away, but my wife was on it for years due to her chronic health issues to due Ehlers-Danlos and Coronary Vasospasms. For years that was one of the only pain regimens that worked for her. She never had the reactions you hear about because she actually needed it for the pain. So it only worked on her pain. But we figured it out once they took it away. Took a while to find something and it still isn't anywhere as good as how Fentanyl helped her. But you move on.

Sorry for the none Vape post reply, but it got me thinking.

Before I switched from smoking to vaping, I read so many articles, and watched youtube videos until I think I reached the end of youtube. Every single thing from the US was basically them clutching their pearls over the dangers of vaping. And of course never mentioning the very real dangers of continuing to smoke.

So over time I began trusting the brits and their NHS. They are logical and don't have any skin in the game, that is they do not depend on profit makers for advice. So I don't pay attention from any information from the US anymore.

Yep. They do NOT say it's "harmless", just at least 95% less harmful.

It's harm reduction, folks. By a lot.

The big issue with that drug as I am sure you know, is they fail to explain the difference between illicit street F vs. prescription F. Not using the whole word as some sites are finicky about it. I understand how it helped your wife, there isn’t anything else that has the 72 hour time release option. It sounds like she has had to start using something different, I hope it controls her pain enough for her to be able to function.
