NPRO Blinking Battery

Alright so I have used the two batteries that have come with my NPRO for 2 weeks now and plan on buying more this friday.
Just today within the lat 20 minutes the battery I have been using all day just started blinking about 30 times when I take a drag, I put it on the charger and grabbed my other battery. Went to take a drag and same thing, blinks thirty times, I can't even get one hit off of it with either battery. One battery is still really good and the other one dies off quicker. The one that is still good is the one that I'm waiting on to charge.
I heard that the switch in the battery if you drip will get stuck so I've tried blowing in it sucking on it smacking threaded side against a table but with no luck nothing is working so far (hopefully the one charging will work when it's done).

Any other ideas of what this could be?

and if I were to buy another ecig what should I try for? I am pretty happy with the amount of vapor and amount of times I can hit off of my NPRO and don't really want to replace it with anything else but just would like to know for that "just in case" moment.

Battery blinking 30 times means it needs to be charged. Of course you already know that. It is a protective measure for the battery.

Batteries are iffy, some last long, some don't. I use a USB pass through for my super mini. I only use batteries when I am away from other power sources.

I like the 801 penstyle for cart life and battery life. Cart holds near a ml of liquid, battery can last up to 6 hours, charges in less than 4.

Everyone has there own favorite PV.

I use my npro every day, it is connected to the USB pass through near the PC. I use it for dripping only. It puts out massive amounts of vapor.

I use the 801 for work, hiking, and when I am not at the PC.

Most people like the 901 mini PV. I never like it, carts too small, battery life too short.

I wish I could give you the magic formula, but there are many opinions here on the forum.

I have lots of stock on super mini, 901 mini, and 801 pen style. They all have their uses for my purpose.

One thing for sure, I don't use PV batteries unless I have to.

thanks for the suggestions, just seems odd that the one went like that, was working fine yesterday, blinked thirty times so I put it on the charger like I always do, and now when I try to use it it just blinks, and gives me maybe 1 drag if I'm lucky. The one that's charging now I used all day and it started blinking so I'm hoping that one just needs to be charged. Weird that a battery would work fine and then die like that (if that is the case) with no previous warning or anything.

sounds to me like your cleaning cycle has happened. odd they both happened at the same time... but hey... chinese mass produced gadgetry.

if you have checked your switches and you are sure your charger is working properly...

abuse it for the next couple of days. keep an eye on the temperature of your atomizer more so than the lights. and smoke it until it is dead. literally the lights will not blink anymore. then charge it. after a few days... it should be good to go again.

only one atomizer, and it's not the charger this has just been confirmed by the complete charge of one battery, now I have the other one in the charger, hopefully I just though I charged it and I didn't and that's why it wasn't working. Only time will tell... thanks for all your help, this scare has definitely made me want to get new attys and batteries this friday when I get paid.

with this style, definitely have two atomizers because it will help you troubleshoot. Also... unless it goes up in flames, keep the troubled piece. I had an atomizer go for 9 months, die for two and then one day, picked it up and it works beautifully! Weird.

AND... don't be afraid to be slightly abusive with this style. As long as you keep an eye on that atomizer temp... you can smoke through the lights and sometimes work out the kinks.

Also... cleaning tip. The best way to clean this style, I have found, is a dry cleaning method. Take of the mouthpiece, put the LED in your mouth and push air gently up through the unit. It will burn all of the stuff off of the atomizer. I have also noticed that cleaning with the imported liquids is more often than with the US made liquids. Don't know why... but that's what I have found :)

Hi,
I have had my npro for 5 weeks with no problems to the battery or atomizers. I keep the batteries charged and clean the atomizers with alcohol. What model pass thru can be used for these batteries and does anyone know who has them in stock? T.W has the batteries and atomizers for the npro, unless they have had problems with shipments. Will the pass thru let me draw without shut off?

This has happened to me with all kinds of appliances and gadgets. I call it the "It Fixed Itself" method. :D

The DSE103 passthru works with the NPRO. I don't know what I ever did without it. I've had it shut off a few times, but not nearly as often as with the regular batteries. Bestecig has them.

Ok sorry I didn't get back to this lastnight, all the tips and tricks and hints have been very helpful. I had both batteries charged and tried them both out this morning before work and they both worked great, one died on the way home from work as I was taking my last puff, so I switched it out but the dead one on the charger and now I'm waiting for it to finish charging. So far I guess I wasn't having a problem I must have just forgot to charge the extra battery. So I was all worried about absolutely nothing. But it did make me realize I need to buy a couple extra batteries and a couple extra atomizers. I was going to anyway but this just reassured me.
