I've finally decided to buy a REO (SL/LP). Why? No clue. I really have no interest but it's all I hear about around here so I'm looking for some advice on bottom feeder toppers that you ladies and gentlemen are using to get the most out of your NT liquids.

I do have a few Cyclone BF w/ AFC's. Again, no clue why I purchased them I guess I figured someday I would end up buying a bottom feeder device. Nonetheless, I'd still like some alternate suggestions as I imagine there are many more choices I'm unfamiliar with.

One thing I do prefer is something that performs well with a single coil. I've just never been a dual coil kinda guy. Though I'm not completely opposed to it so who knows you all might just change my mind.

Thank you to each and every one of you that takes the time to offer their advice!

The cyclone and AFC cap can be run with a single coil plus you can dial in the air flow you prefer. Don't really need anything else IMO
Agreed that the AFC cap gives you options and can easily be run in single coil mode. However if you only run single coils and want better flavor, the smaller chamber of the standard cap is a bit better than the larger AFC cap. I sold both of my AFC caps and only run single coils with standard cap on both of my Cyclones. Because the Divo has an even smaller chamber I slightly prefer it over the Cyclone.

I use RM2s but will eventually try others - it's just so good and easy (except recently i suck at making coils but that's because i suck at making coils not the attys problem) i don't want to try anything else quite yet, content. the cyclone looks beautiful. photos of REOs with cyclones are amazing - you'll probably be such a happy camper

3 Cyclone afc's, 1 standard, 3 RM2's (two brass) 1 RM3 (dual) 2 CH Divo's on the way and 2 Reactors. Had a deal cooking on a Chalice but that fell through.

Every one of them are capable of producing great flavor depending on the build. Been feeling a lot of love from the Reactors lately. Your Cyclone is a very fine choice and with the AFC control, its very easy to dial in the flavor and is one of my favorites as well.

I'm the first one to claim that I had no interest in Reo's or for that matter box mods in general but now I have six on top of a Woodvil which is due to arrive today.

You like NT for the flavour, no?

To max that, a smaller chamber atty will do better than a larger chamber one (IMHO). The RM2 is pretty much a staple in every reonaut's kit, and a great little atty. It's also the easiest to mod for air flow - the cap is either brass or nickel plated brass (both are available) and very easy to drill/mod.

The RM3/4/5 all excel with dual coils, so that would leave you out (at least today :)), so the other of Rob's stable I'd recommend would be the IGO-S.

It's not like you're hurting with the cyclone, though. Many would love to have it as an option.

Buy the LP in what ever you decide and give those cyclones a spin!! :D

You've got one of the best.
I'd suggest skimming through this thread - Chowderhead can turn your favorite atty into a BF, or you can get one of the ones people have already tested and want more of from the lists...

If you are a single coil flavor vapor, the standard Cyclone without AFC will yield better flavor. The RM2 is a gold standard for flavor and easy of build. Other solid choices are the RM3, Igo-S, Divo or Chalice.

I'm truly thankful for all the family who took the time to explain their thoughts on the path I'm headed down!

Looks like the Cyclone is going to get me off to a really good start and hopefully make me a believer like all you REO NUT's, haha.

The RM2 I think will have to wait a bit. With all the accessories I'm pushing $225+. Not to mention I just splurged a few days ago on the limited titanium Provari (That makes 6) and that set me back a few Benjamins. Hopefully I won't start collecting REO's too or the wife may move me out to the doghouse. Then I'll have to buy the dog a temper pedic mattress and install AC for the two of us.

I'll be sure to update everyone once everything arrives!

You've got good suggestions there for single coils. The Zenith version 2.5 is a great atomizer for the Reo, however some have had issues with the threading on them being bad and had to clean them up. Mine worked great on the Reo out of the box. If you already have a Zenith 2 they make a bottom feeder conversion kit for that. There is also a BF conversion kit for the Origen. Those are the two atomizers that top my Reo 99% of the time. The Zenith also works nicely for single coils. I have a RM2 as well, and that is a decent atty for single coils but I rarely use it any more as I like the Zenith better. The A7 and A7 mini fit as well but don't vape as good as the other options IMO.
