NT Liquid + Reo + TSA = ?

Has anyone flown with a Nicoticket filled Reo? My fear is that I will get to the security check point and that my Reo will be confiscated and then I will be without the yummy AND my Reo! If I need to check it with my luggage, I will.

What are your experiences with vaping and travel?

I just did, batteries in.
TSA didn't bat an eye.
Vaped in airport bathroom till pretty dry wick. I wrapped a little tissue around the rda. About mid flight there was a glorious aroma arising from my bag, but very minimal actual leakage.

4 flights, 2 trips through security....same results.

Haven't flown with a Reo, but I have flown with plenty of other vape gear in my on board bag.

That flight was through Portland and Orlando.

I've flown through Portland/ teeny airport in Branson MO with the REO too.
I was worried about teeny airport TSA, but they didn't even take a second look either.
That time the REO bottle was capped though b/c I was worried about leaks.

Kent and I are going to a Steelers game next weekend. We are both pretty excited to get out of town for a bit. I just plan on taking my Reo, a few batteries, and my Virus. So if it gets confiscated I'll be semi-devastated. Who am I kidding? I'll be inconsolable. This does help knowing that others have traveled successfully.

Sounds like someone is about to head to Pittsburg! My bro in law just arrived last night from Australia on his way to go live back home in Ireland and he had no issues as well. He told me that he would pull a blanket over his head and take a few pulls while in flight.

He's in drastic need of a equipment upgrade however and of coarse I'll have to set him up with plenty of Nicoticket to take home.

Do wrap the atty with some paper towel as the change in altitude can cause some leakage, nothing extreme but they can leak.

Flew about a month ago, no problems at all with TSA in Reno or in L.A.
No REO but 2 mechs and I just took them apart, stored batteries in a plastic battery case and reassembled after I was past the checkpoint. You can carry on as much juice in bottles as will fit in a clear quart ziploc bag.
I had plenty of juice and even had my battery charger in my carry on and they didn't bat an eye.
It was a shockingly uneventful trip through security.

I have never had a problem with any vape gear through TSA. I usually go through with 2 REOs, a DNA30 box mod, 2 tube mods, and 6 50ml bottles of NT juice. Just put any liquid in a 1 quart zip lock baggie and throw that into a bin to get x rayed. As far as the bottle in the REO I just leave it in the REO, same with the batteries. Make sure your spare batteries are in your carry on, they don't like Lithium ion batts in checked luggage.

As Nanny mentioned I fly a LOT! I'll hit close to 100K miles this year. TSA has been trained to recognize e-cigs, now if they would just learn to recognize what a spare computer battery looks like. That is the only thing TSA has ever stopped me to look at closer...

ETA: I also carry 6 extra Sony VTC5s with no flags from TSA on those...

Pittsburgh International Airport has actually been quite pleasant to travel through with vape gear. They have a really nice airport in general as far as staff and amenities go. In the last 5 1/2 years and dozens of flights I've never had any real issues other than the typical, what ya got there. I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Good luck in the Burgh I can't wait to get back home this holiday and see some family and catch a Penguins game or two if I'm lucky!

Flew in & out of the DC area with my Reo (empty, in my carry-on, put a battery & bottle in flight) and several bottle of juice and had no issues.
