I love my USC for cleaning atties and parts. I use a sawzall for mixing. It comes out looking creamy but only because of the air bubbles have been reduced in size. It settles after a day. Cuts out amount of time shaking as I only have to do this once a week for DIY and only once with my NT bottles.
Penguiness, are you for real that you use a sawzall for mixing NT juices? I thought shaking thoroughly was enough!

Crap! Lol. Time to get into hubby's toys. ;)

Yeah when I saw that I thought,"I can grind all the sharp edges off a sawzall blade at the shop." :D

Guess I have a project for tomorrow at work. :p

If you are going to modify at the shop, I recommend these things:

Grind the edges off a worn out blade
Drill two holes in the blade approximately 50ml bottle length apart in the blade
Bend narrow fencing wire to form a "basket" that will hold a 50ml bottle completely enclosed with the ability to put a bottle in and out. Make 2
Use wire, lightweight metal strap brackets, or hanger straps to secure one "basket" on each side of the blade and secure to the blade with a small bolt and nut.

Now, when you want to mix up juice, open the "basket", drop in a bottle (or use both baskets for 2 bottles) and mix for 5 minutes. Easy to take the basket blade out and put in another for using the sawzall for it's designed purpose :)

I have damaged my rotator cuffs over the years with outdoor activities so shaking bottles by hand for any length of time isn't the smartest thing for me to do.

Nice tips ty Penguiness!!! I was just going to grind it down and put it in the drill press and make some zip tie holes (they're cheap enough to use and cut) but this will work much better. And I have plenty of welding wire to use to make the baskets.

You could use zip ties but you will need to use a lot of them to keep the bottles from slipping out. Not a biggie with plastic, but the new bottles are glass.

I have enough zip ties to survive the zombie apocalypse or arrest everyone in North America, but your idea is much better. :)

Always wrapping up cords on something so I am a bit of a zip tie hoarder. :p

Pro-tips:

Sweet talk Beau on the Olark chat - tell him to whisper sweet nothings into Nick's ear so he forgets to crush your candy.

Check your in-system messages - some/most people don't even know there is a running conversation there.

Notes at checkout - aside from a nice little note (which always lifts the team's spirit) - it doesn't hurt to put something to the following effect: "If I am up for a loyalty upgrade, I would like to try XXX." Or - "If I am up for a loyalty upgrade, would you kindly upgrade my 15ml bottle of XXX to a 30?" Count the quantity of your orders - we upgrade the orders ending in 3's and 8's (Ie, order # 3, 8, 13, 18...)

Free shipping over $50 - If you're spending anywhere near $40, buy an extra bottle and save.

Choose Priority Mail for the $50 insurance, but don't expect it to get there any faster (honestly). If you order more than $50 worth of liquid and it's NOT giving you the USPS 1st Class Mail option at checkout, your order weighs more than 13oz and Free Shipping will automatically be upgraded to Priority - save your $5.75.

If you order a large quantity of liquid (anything over $100, domestic shipments only) - buy the insurance, always.

Check the NT Swap Meet with some regularity - especially if you have some liquid hanging around that isn't tripping your trigger for whatever reason.

Check the Sticky Situation thread with regularity... after we get all of our "white label" liquid locked and loaded, we're planning on firing up the R&D again and we'll need beta testers... beta testing opportunities will be posted there when availible.

I would've never asked for an upgrade, but if I see it from now on I will. Ya'll have already been way too good to me, to ask for more freebies seems wrong but if you're ok with it I can't argue with extra awesome. Those are some serious pro-tips right there.

Chocolate Fudge goes over well. There are a lot of chocolate and fudge places that you can order from online to send directly to them. I am sure they would be more inclined to consume it, if it came packaged from the retailer.

Will take that under advisement, was thinking maybe something for the new digs with a touch of metalworking flare. :)

It won't taste as good but will last forever. :thumb:

I believe I know a couple of retailers in Colorado...;)
