Ok here is yet another review of the Blu. I waited for quite some time to get to this because i wanted to make sure I had really used it enough to form a solid opinion.

THE PLUS SIDE:

1) The PCC kicks ....
2) It looks and feels a lot like an analog cig
3) Responsive customer service
4) One year replacement warrenty on parts
sadly, after two weeks that was pretty much the only pluses i still have for it

THE MINUS SIDE:

1) Battery life is absolutely wretched
2) The carts all taste the same (except the menthol, it takes like a slightly minty version of all the other flavors)
3) You are not supposed to refill Blu carts
4) Doing so voids the 1 year replacement warrenty
5) The carts are VERY small
6) They don't last nearly as long as Blu claims they do. Of course i was always a deep inhaler smoker, so maybe thats an operator issue, not a problem with the carts
7) Blu is proprietary, i.e. the only place you can buy genuine Blu products is from their own website.
8) Low vapor production

I have, since buying my Blu, also bought a Joye eGo and I am much much happier with its performance. That said I do still use my blu from time to time. The PCC as i mentioned is pretty good, probably the best one in the industry. And its very convenient for a night out on the town because its the same size as a pack of analogs so it fits in you pocket/purse quite nicely. The battery life as i said is not very good, but the PCC will charge one battery before you manage to kill the other one, so you shouldnt be caught stranded. So after a brief internal debate i decided NOT to return my blu. I will hang on to it for basically two reasons. 1) convenience 2) i have a backup plan if something should ever happen to my eGo.

If you insist on having an Ecig that resembles an analog, there are LOTS of options out there, take the time to shop around. Most super-mini Ecigs (size of a regular analog) are going to have short battery life, but some models do much better than others. Smokestik makes a couple real nice models, and the Joye 510 might work for you too.

If you are new to Ecigs you must understand this....the Ecig that looks like an analog, has amazing battery life and creates huge vapor clouds is the Holy Grail of Ecigs...and it doesn't exist yet. You must make compromises between form and function. Decide which factors are most important to you before you buy. Next, understand what you are buying. If you have questions, this is the site to come to for answers, ask away. The veterans of ECF will gladly help you (they sure helped me!). Hopefully your first Ecig purchase will be the right one and you can put that money you saved toward buying a few flavors to try out. Many members of this site made "the wrong decision" first. Myself included.

I hope this helps a few newbies to make an informed decision. Thanks for taking the time to read this:

You've got a plus that isn't true.

#1 is dead wrong. The PCC does NOT kick ..... It's actually the worst PCC I've seen. Revolver and Volvcano both have cig-pack sized PCC's that are MUCH better than the blu pack for the same money. There's also a PCC for KR8's that looks like those old-school cigarette cases. Not sure if the electronics are better, but they can't be worse and it looks cooler.

Can you please give us a review of this "Revolver"? I've been researching and enjoying e-cigs for half a year now and have never seen this brand. Thanks!

BTW, Sidesho from Modern Vapor has a PCC identical to the older Volcano model pack now. (LCD display but does not hold assembled e-cig)

Be happy to.

Revolver (Revolvercig.com) has 4 different 3-cig models, with a 4th coming soon, as well as an update to one existing model.

Elite - This is a super-mini, and the first product I bought from revolver after failing with the Blu. The assembled e-cig is exactly the same size as the Blu (which is the same size as an analog). The best description I've heard of the Elite is that it's exactly like the Blu, but without Blu's mistakes.

Having owned both, the battery life on the elite is about double that of the Blu. Still short, but very good for a super-mini. The carts, which have re-usable silicone plugs instead of foil seals, last as long as Blu claims theirs last, which means 4-6 cigs for a heavy smoker, more for lite smokers.

The atomizer has a very wide and durable bridge, unlike the bridge on the blu atty, which falls apart if you look at it wrong. It produces good vapor, and excellent flavor. Obviously not as much as a 510, but probably the best you're going to get out of a super-mini.

The Elite PCC has an LCD display and smart charging circuits like the volcano PCC, and seems to be extremely well made.

I always recommend revolver to people because of their customer service. There are a lot of good e-cigs out there, but their CS is fantastic. Virtually all emails are answered within a day, and they fix problems really fast and with no trouble.

Their other models are:

Gemini - (soon to be updated to the Gemini-2, and nobody really knows what that means) It's their 510. Pretty standard 510 with an SLB style atty. Available in manual and auto. Until recently, they offered a PCC that was no bigger than a pack of 100's, but required you to unscrew the atty to fit it all in the case. Right now, they're not selling a PCC for the gemini, but according to their reps, they are working on an exclusive deal to sell a PCC that will be unique to Revolver. They say they've already bought the mold. There's some pre-production photos on their forum.

They've got two other atomizers for it. The "Heavy Hitter" and "Infinity Ion Atomizer for Gemini". I have not tried the HH, but it definitely has a different bridge, and may also be low resistance. The Ion atty is the atomizer from their Infinity Ion e-cig, which I'll describe below, but with 510 threads.

Infinity Ion - As far as I can tell, this one is unique to Revolver. It's sort of a modified 510. About a half an inch longer than a 510, puts out humongous clouds of vapor, maybe a little less flavor than your usual 510. Slightly higher capacity carts which only work on the Ion and vice versa.

They refer to this one as the "510 Killer." I haven't used it, but it seems that just about everyone who has, swears by it and agrees that it's a 510 killer.

Vgo - As far as I can tell, this is absolutely no different from the Vgo sold by Volcano and several others, just branded Revolver. Although, some folks on the Revolver forums have said that it's different in some way. I own this one too. I bought it as a back-up, and to use on long car trips, but it quickly replaced my Elite as my daily vape. The Elite is now my back-up.

Ion-Vgo - Not on the market yet. Supposed to come out soon, and it will be just what it sounds like; a Vgo with the right connector to use the Infinity Ion atty.
