Nube here, lurking a while and just joined. Recently received the SE Gold starter kit, and ordered more carts, replacement atty, and a bottle of johnsons creek juice to be prepared to completely stop smoking the analogs. So far so good, despite some of the discussion about SE. And of course, I've been lurking here and reading like crazy.

But my head is starting to spin...from the reading mostly and partly from the nico mist! I still have a couple questions after searching this huge forum, though and I hope you guys can help me:

1) I bought the SE Gold kit because the NJoy Pro carts are available in bulk from CostCo online, which is a plus, and because the NJoy Pros and SE Golds are completely interchangeable, another plus. My question here is what other brands are completely interchangeable with these two brands? Also, is there a dedicated forum that clearly, concisely, and understandably explains what brands are interchangeable?

2) Trying to figure out the best way to juice spent carts. I've seen vids and explanations that you can use anywhere from two to as much as seven drops of juice! Does this depend on the style (pen, etc.) or the juice or what? Can't quite get that. Most importantly, I'm in agreement with most here that the carts in general are way too pricey and don't last as long as advertised, and the best way to overcome this is to juice them. So my final follow up question is how many times can you add juice to spent carts before they have to be re-packed. I've seen some vids on how to re-pack with poly fiber, but I've also read some stories on how folks have busted their attys in the process.

Please help a nube out or lead me in the right direction! Thanks!!!

all of the 4081 parts from ruyan work on my npro model....it was my first ecig.

Thanks Paul, that helps. It would be great if there was some global compatibility diagram--would be helpful in comparing prices, etc., for essentially the same product. Apparently very few Chinese manufacturers are selling under many different brand names over here.

I've only been vaporing for afew weeks, but from what I've figured out and what has been posted on here... The way I fill a cart when I've got the time is instead of just adding the juice, I pull out the fiberfill with tweezers, place it on a table or my knee and fill it up, then pop the fiberfill back in the cart.. If I'm just filling with the fiberfill still in the cart, I pull it out a bit with my tweezers and then fill up the fiberfill a bit and then push the fiberfill back into the cart (that's usually 3 or 4 drops)... There are those who use a toothpick to put inside at the edge of the cart and fill it that way, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to do it that way since the tips of the bottles are bigger so I can't see how that is done, but I guess I'll learn and feel like an idiot afterwards for not "getting it earlier".. Then there are those who just use a syringe... Just be careful not to over flow it.. Also figured out that once I start tasting a bit of a burnt taste, I need to put a drop of juice on the atomizer, and some just vape doing the drop to the atomizer but I haven't tried that since I'm afraid that I'll mess up the battery...

Thanks for the responses! I should receive my first bottle from Johnson's Creek today so I'm looking forward to giving this a shot. I like the first 10 or so draws from a fresh cart, but I've quickly come to discover that the life of a new cart is very short-lived and the only way to make this more cost-effective (over analogs) is to not dispose of the old carts but to juice them again.

Follow-up question: How many times can you drip/juice a cart before needing to replace the fill material on average? Also, what do you use to replace the fill? I've heard that combed wool or poly fiber both are good. What a bout cotton? Anything else? Analog cig butts?

Hello! I bought the NPro NJoy through Costco myself, and have been happy so far (although I haven't tried others to compare it to)...but based on what I read here it looked like a good model. All's well, going on my 4th week! :)

Pretty much do the same as stated above, refilling (Johnson's Creek was fast on the juice order!) The RN 4081 is the correct model. I now have 4 batteres and atomizers and about 20 cart's I'm refilling. So far, so good! I've refilled several times on cart's and they're working fine still. I've tried small cut pieces of "aquarium filter" to replace a couple and it's worked fine. It's the blue sheet stuff you can buy at any aquarium supplier, and once you buy a bag you'll be good for a LONG time. Wish you all the best!

Thanks John; very appreciative! Only a few days in but I'm very excited about this life-changing product. I generally have one or two analogs per day and vape a couple carts. Hope to wean completely off analogs within a week. But right now that's a pretty good cut out of my usualy 1 to 2 packs of analogs per day!

Glad you are liking it.. I will never got back to smoking regular ciggies since I am vaping (and that is huge when I have been smoking for 32 years and refused to quit *LOL*)

Ok first, I bought empty carts, but from what I've read around here, it seems like many of the pre-filled carts are not completely filled, so I guess you're not alone....

You can use Fiberfill or that stuff that people put in the filters in fish tanks to fill a cart.. Fiberfill is dirt cheap and even afew ounces will last you eons...

You can wash the cart filler out in warm water, them dry them up and reuse them if you want, but since fiberfill is so cheap, I just refill a cart every time I change flavors... To wash them, rinse them under hot or warm water and squeeze the bee-geesus outta them and air dry, or take a syringe after you've rinsed them and them put the fill in the syringes, place the plunger back in the syringe and them Squuuueeeeeezzzzeeee, and them let them air dry....

Only time I actually "needed" to change the fiberfill (instead of just changing it for kicks) was with an origional one, and it was because it just disinagrated in my hand.

Anolog filters would be too strong I would think.. I mean you'd get tons of juice in them, but to get the juice to come out and reach the atomizer wouldn't work... Not sure about cotton, give it a try, but wouldn't it be too flimsy???

How's the Johnson Creek Juice??? Wish they would sell large quantities....
