Firstly, hey all! Good to have found somewhere where I can hopefully clear up some mysteries! :D

Now... I'm a relitively new UK vaper. I started on the Barlites, then bought myself a Nucig Advanced Pro 2 system.

Both of these are compatible. I can swap and change batteries, atomisers and all. Except that a battery from each brand has died, and I'm needing new atomisers.

I'm pretty unhappy with Nucig's customer services and prices, but love their small size portable charger, and wondered if you guys knew of a compatible brand? Are they a re-named version of a known model?

Hi Loki and welcome!

My first ecig was the advanced pro 2 from Nucig. All i can say is: what a piece of junk! Both the kits and the company. Im sorry to say this, but if you consider having a good experience with e-cigs you (as i did) are on the way of changing gears. The Nucig super minis are dse084 (no matter what they will say to you) and even Chinese wholesale distributors will say to you that these are one of the most unreliable ecigs available.

As you i was quite unhappy with Nucig..their prices ...etc. If i look to my left i can see my Nucig AP2 full kit almost as new...batteries will go on at the slightest breeze or sneeze! If you have their PCC (charging case) just look at it while you walk. You will see both batteries turning on as the PCC touches your jacket...

I was excited with those superminis..they got me on the right path. But had o not ordered some tornados, i'd be back to analogs in the 1st week. I have 7 AP2 batteries from Nucig (3 work as they please since day 1= duds). The PPC and 8 atties. Im glad those atties fit on a 510.

I am really sorry to give you this feedback, but if you want an ecig that resembles a real cig, the way to go is a M401 or a dse901. You can check the suppliers forum here at ECF and you will see that you can get a 510 kit for half the price you gave to Nucig...

Only good thing that came from Nucig was their juice. It is nice...

Huh, interesting...

A couple of friends have reported the Nucigs AP2 being overly sensitive, so I think I was lucky. Mine seem fine? I have to draw a fair bit on them to make 'em glow. But still... they're broke now after a disappointing amount of time - without mis-handling - and are overly priced IMO.

Whats the length of a dse901 in total? Can anyone recommend a good UK based supplier?

Any-one with an opinion on the Barlites? I don't much like their carts, they barely last a couple of smoking sessions. The batteries are slightly longer, and indeed last longer too. Same thread as the Nucigs.

I -was- impressed with the Nucig liquid.

Check Cloud 9 Vaping - Come in from the cold and E-Liquid .

Both have the 901 for about 27 quid. They also have the 510 and the KR808-D1 (LF). The KR is great, uses cartomizers which i love. The PCC is about 17 quid and it charges the 901 also.

I mention these 2 suppliers because i ordered from them and am very pleased.

Personally i like the 510 though : all my main gear is 510 based. Nucig was a disappointment BUT it made me aware of ecigs. A month later i was the owner of this gear: Tornados, 901, regular 510, Screwdriver mod, KR808...and to top if off, i ordered last week the GGTS! Ok...i'm no example. I spend too much money on PV'S...but boy...do i feel great!

Yea.....right. Im gonna change my 510 and 901 and even all my mods for a Nucig CRAP. Wait...i dont have to change, i have 7 Nucig AP2 ecigs right here waiting for the garbage truck!

Nucig juice is Dekang - their bottles even have YNDK on the caps-...so blame it on our juices... They simply SUCK! Worst ecig and company i ever came across.

1-they are superminis.
2-they are the worst e-cigs money can buy.
3-they are the most overpriced e-cigs you can find.

This tells me, apart from my experience with NUCIG, that this company sucks big time.
In UK there is a vast number of ecig suppliers that deliver the best products available at a fair price.

Lol Portguy, I don't think you are going to be able to change Maureen's opinion somehow - she obviously loves them as she has mentioned them in everyone of her posts ;)

Yes..i noticed that ;) ....

Lol, I thought you may have done :D

Not long after I set up my ebay e-cig group (now sadly more or less defunct due to ebay policies) I emailed Nucig asking about their products - still waiting for a reply about 18 months later!

I forgot to say: i have 7 batteries and 4 or 5 AP2 atomizers...plus the PCC (it is fun to have a AP2 crap charging inside and see the PCC glow red and blue coz the batteries go on just by touching the inside of the jacket). If ANYONE needs parts for the AP2 i'll gladly send them.
Maureen: all you guys at office have to do is pay the shipping. Thats a hell of a deal!
