Hi

I've been a smoker since 1995 and only tried to quit once and it was pure hell (cold turkey). Last month i purchased a Nucig Advanced Pro 2009 from ebay.

I didn't really like it at first and didn't use it again for ages but recently i gave it another try and i can see myself easily using it instead of real ciggys in the future but i have some thing that need clearing up before i take the full plunge.

I have been lurking in the forums for a few days reading up but there is some conflicting info so am still unsure.

1. How reliable are the atomisers as i've read of them only lasting between a few days and a month. They cost £10 each for my Nucig and if i'm replacing them weekly that will be the same price as i pay for rolling tobacco. I don't know how good my nucig is compared to other ecigs but if i can get a better one that has cheaper atomisers/batteries i may invest in that before starting full time vaping.

2. With ebay imminently banning ecigs, accessories and juice at the end of june are there many suppliers in the UK who allways have stuff in stock as ive read that quite a few keep selling out and people are waiting for them to restock.

3. What would be an ideal ecig for me to buy im willing to spend £50-£60 and dont really care if its ciggarete sized or not so long as it has good battery life and has parts easily obtainable and at not to cheap a cost (i saw one site selling 5 atomizers for £20) this would be about as much as id be willing to spend on spare atomizers.

The nucig i have only has one battery so i have to charge it up now and then and dont want to invest further in this one incase i can get a more decent one a ta reasonable price.

Cheers

I read around a bit more and decided on the 510 titan. It arrived this morning and i am very pleased with it it kicks out much more vapour than the nucig i have and doesnt need you to drag on it for ages to get a hit off it.

The cartridges are much better than in the nucig. The nucig ones are tiny blue plastic things that are so fiddly you end up with most of the juice on you fingers when trying to top it up. Ive also bought a pack of 5 atomisers along with the 2 i got in the pack and some watermelon ejuice for when the 10 free tobacco carts run out.

I think i might give the nucig to my sister as she's been trying to give up but i will tell her that its a very low end e-cig as not to put her off like it nearly did me.

Im not sure what juice is in the prefilled carts it tobacco flavour but it actual tastes like the smell of a fresh packet of unsmoked cigarrettes rather than actual tobacco smoke (this smell isnt actually tobacco its some kind of additive so ive read) but it'll do for the time being.

If anyones reading this who i curious about switching over to ecigs from tobacco i would suggest not buying the cheaper nucig as it may tarnish your experience and put you off.

Now i just need to switch myself over to the ecig full time an cut out analogues all together which im going to do gradually rather than a straight switch over.
