nuclear bombs used in war besides nagasaki & hiroshima?

was just wondering if these were the only times they were used, actually couldn't easily find an answer hence why asking here. Was also wondering if any non-nuclear bombings killed as many if not more people sort of in one shot, such as chemical warfare etc. i.e in a war and not radiation accidents etc.

Never heard of any and chemical warfare doesn't really work that way. When it was OK to use (we don't have them any more ) you would use multiple devices and in most cases they didn't kill as effectively. Chemical weapons are far more horrible.

Operation Meetinghouse, an allied bombing of Tokyo on the night of March 9-10, 1945 killed an estimated 100,000 people. That was with conventional firebombs and napalm. There was over 300 planes involved in that, but it's as close to "one shot" as you can get without using an actual nuclear weapon. But no, no other atomic bombs have ever been used in combat operations since then. And I'd argue the only reason they we're used then was because nobody else had them and there was little fear of retaliation with other nuclear weapons. That and the horrendous death toll that would have arisen if they instead went ahead with the ground invasion of the Japanese home islands. But that's an argument for another thread.
