Just wondering if there's any information out there on the subject. As vaping catches on more and more people will be exposed to the vapor. Just telling the public it's harmless isn't enough. If we tell people that then it's sort of our responsibility that our facts and opinions are informed. Not only will vaping become more mainstream, CDC has watched nut allergies increase among the population with no sign of remission. I don't have an issue with nuts or their extracts but if there's a potential of exposing somebody to something that could cause them anaphylaxis I'd like to know so I could take necessary precautions. Does anyone have a nut-allergic relative or friend they can blow a nutty vape at and see what happens? There doesn't appear to be any info on the subject anywhere.

I have a pretty severe nut allergy, and have come in contact with a few juices that clearly use natural nut extracts. For the most part, it's the direct vapor inhale that gets me something fierce. The secondhand vapor bothered me very little if at all. Just like taste preference, allergies vary from person to person. I think it's best just to use good judgement when vaping in public. On a related note, I just had a great talk with a vendor last week who labels their product regarding allergens but not their web store. They are going to start disclosing these ingredients so people can be aware when they order. I almost had to reach for the Epinephrin after two drags!

Thanks guys! I know this is a relatively new industry. I just want all the information possible but that takes time. No one could accuse me of being cavalier about vaping around others or vaping in general. But, my experience has left me thinking "This is what it feels like being a non-smoker". Even at the gym I'm doing twice the exercising with half the exhaustion compared to my smoke days. I emphatically recommend vaping to random smokers I see. I just feel more comfortable knowing all I can about things I advocate. Once again, thanks for the info.

That's the true spirit of the scientific pioneer right there. Inject it into your lab assistant, then bask in all the glory ;)

after 3 month of horror, I finally figured out my issue. I had no issues vaping for the first 4 months, then after I got really into it, purchased a bunch of mods, atomizers, vaping 24/7 i got a jock itch rash. never had that before. I had no idea what caused it. Then I went to doctor, purchased a bunch of pills, and topical meds. The meds did not work, so I went online, spent about $400 on online medicine, and it seems to get better one day, then the next it would flare up even worse. On a few days, the pain was so bad, I could not walk. I
then purchased ejuice all vg, and all pg. I started with the all VG juice, and oh my god, it's been only 3 days, and the rash is going away,
and for the first time no pain. If you are getting a bad rash, you can try just all VG and it could work. I had 3 month of total hell. I could feel the burn as I vaped, that's why I new it was something in the juice. I am on my way to recovery. If you would like to chat, please email me anytime at hulkbadboy@gmail.com

Glad you didn't just give up despite your trouble. I haven't even messed with PG since I've read so many anecdotes similar to yours. What you've describe is more acute but it'd be nice to not lose potential vaporers due to a bad PG experience. I really haven't seen any people having VG reactions. I'm sure there's a few but PG comes up more.

lol and you kept vaping even after all those side effects?
You think from all the things someone exposes themselves to, and puts in their bodies on a daily bases, he would have immediately thought PG the culprit? Discovery takes time you know.
