Sorry to resurrect an older thread, but my question is related...

I was wondering about the second hand vapor, and in surprised this hasn't occurred to me until now.

I don't have any food allergies, and was considering trying pbc... But you think any of the actual protein remains suspended in air long enough to affect anyone else?? It's my son with the nut allergy.

I would take the precaution to not expose him to the vapor...but that is just me...

Depends on how sensitive your sons nut allergy is.

If I were to consume nuts I typically begin vomiting, my air ways constrict, and I experience severe muscle aches throughout my body. I even experience a drastic mood change, to the point of going from Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde.

Even the smell causes gagging, difficulty breathing, and headaches.

Not sure I know the answer to this one... MKR's better safe than sorry route seems reasonable?
