NYC RBA Help

Long story short, I can't rebuild to save my life. I have all the gear, tools, and pieces but when I put it together it never works right. Spent too many hours trying watching videos, reading posts and trying myself, I'm at my wits end.

I really want to learn how to do this properly. If any NYC local person is willing to teach me how to do it, I will gladly pay for a round of drinks. I'll bring everything that I have and my end goal is to have a 1.5ohm coil working on my doc dave mini micro and on my cyclone. I have SS cable, SS mesh, silica, ekowool hollow and threaded, cotton, xs-116, Kanthal 28-32, .5mm ribbon wire and tools.

I feel you comrade for almost the same reason I gave up on genesis atomizers.

You have to try cotton wicks. Very easy to make and works great.

You have to try cotton wicks. Very easy to make and works great.

Tried that first, tasted like cotton balls for the first 2 tanks, it finally started getting vapor and flavor and then I started coughing uncontrollably and lunging for my glass of water. Burnt cotton tastes terrible.

I'm on the BK/Queens border but work in the city, willing to meetup for convenience at any place that won't throw us out.

You have to use sterile cotton. I get NO cotton flavor at all with mine. I get instant great flavor with no breakin. You have to use just enough cotton to fit inside the coil.
