So my 3mm hollow ekowool is having a hard time wicking vertically with max vg juices, I was thinking about putting 1mm hollow ekowool inside of 3mm ekowool, anyone tried it?
I originally got it to put my 3/32" ss cable in there but used as a coil sleeve, the liquid didn't want to wick and it was tasting real bad, and it took forever to heat up. I drilled my aga t2 to 3mm and dropped in the ekowool, using it as an autodripper and it's my first rba success ever. But I'm looking for better wicking. Perhaps ss cable and lower resistance to account for the extra mass to heat up. Or I was thinking about drilling the wick hole bigger than 1/8" so the ekowool wouldn't be so cramped, and then sleeving a cable all the way down into the tank with the 3mm ekowool.
